And they always have that one or 2nd goon that waits until the other goons arebefore putting up a decent resistance.
Why do villians always employ goons who can't fight or shoot for shyt?

this is exactly the type of material that needs to be in that Goon comic/cartoon series.
I picture the cartoon being a bit like Looney Tunes in the sense that the main character has a million lives. Pretty much I see the first episode starting off with him at the bar knocking down a brew. There should be some narration/inner monologue akin to Sin City. The character should be talking about how hard it is making it in the goon world. How there's low pay and shytty benefits and never consistent work. And some shyt about how he always dreamed of being a hollywood star.
The camera pans out and in the bar you see a bunch of fukked up characters playing pool, cards, and darts while rehabbing injuries. You'll see some power rangers silly putty folks, some ninjas, maybe a dbz character, you know just a collage of who's who's.
shyt could be a hilarious 15mn thing on Adult Swim. The idea would be to just make episodes about everyday shyt but from the perspective of a goon.
Imagine one of jokers goons, whose a widower, goonin his way to pay for his Dying mother's medical operation. And while on his way to pick up his only son from daycare batman drops down from the sky.

Pretty sure most goons dont get paid,they goon because they idolize the villian and get a chance to somewhat live the lifestyle by proximity
....you probaly dont get paid until you become a right hand man.

Bro I'd love to see a Christmas episode where the son asks for a batman action figure.
Think of the hurt the goon would feel, when he asks his son why he wants a batman action figure so much and the son replies, "because I want to be like batman. He gets rid of bad guys"
There's so much range In a character like that. The death of wife, him going into a spiral depression and picking up an alcohol problem. Losing his home and job, selling his car to put a roof over his and his son's head. Then as soon things start improving he gets news that his mother is diagnosed with a terminal illness and he doesn't have the funds to pay for the treatment.
At the of the end of series, while watching TV with his son an announcement goes up on the screen demanding the goon and his colleagues capture with their pictures. He tries changing the channel but fumbles the remote. He gets on one knee and tries to explain himself to his son with tears flowing out his eyes but the son interrupts him then put his arm around him[the goon] and says, " I love you dad"

The jackel want goon thoEven in TV shows. Look at what Avon had to deal with on The Wire.once he lost his top muscle he had trouble finding good goons.
It also shows good goons prolly cost a grip. Brother Mouzone didn't come cheap. Then look at movies like The Jackal. That Russian had to pay Bruce Willis 50 million.
Low level goons probably get paid just enough to put their lives on the line but not enough to where they can save up and leave.
Jokers Goon gave batman that work in batman 89
Joker's goons are underrated as fukk.
He easily has the best goons beside Ra's Al Ghul.
