Why do villians always employ goons who can't fight or shoot for shyt?

DAMN sure didnt.. Hell, I never said it mad sense...

Hell, I'll rather send 1 bane to fight batman istead of 100 joker goons... NOW.. if i had 100 banes .. We'd be on to something
Yeah but you can't control 100 banes , you need a certain kind of person to be a cannon fodder goon and another to be a right hand man. When you get too competent a right hand they usually try And screw you over or become a boss like say starscream or stringer . Chris and snoop were some of the best henchmen I ever saw , never turned on Marlo no matter the situation and were actually more than competent at their jobs but stayed loyal

Even in TV shows. Look at what Avon had to deal with on The Wire. :snoop: once he lost his top muscle he had trouble finding good goons.

It also shows good goons prolly cost a grip. Brother Mouzone didn't come cheap. Then look at movies like The Jackal. That Russian had to pay Bruce Willis 50 million.

Low level goons probably get paid just enough to put their lives on the line but not enough to where they can save up and leave.
Chris and snoop were some of the best goons ever ! Marlo lucked out

The problem with competent goons is that they will start to think they can do a better job than the boss. It's the downside to being a villain boss.

Memory is fuzzy but I think the only time I've seen a crew where the goons were badass and stayed loyal was Hotel Moscow in that Black Lagoon anime. God bless your soul if you managed to kill one of their goons :merchant:

:russ: Its that old school gang mentallity profile of a bunch of pussies joining together cause they weak as shyt alone. Plus their skill depends on the boss. If its a thanos or darkseid type villain they can wipe out the powerful ones that get too cute but a nikka like two face is just ugly with a gun. Bane or joker would clip em in his sleep if they worked for him

If your goon was so good that he kills off the hero in the first fight of the movie, it wouldn't be that good of a movie.
Goons die with one punch. The super villain can take 3 bullets, a sword cut, a couple kicks to the crotch and a throat punch before flinching. They got to extend that final fight.

So basically it's like Thanos went with weak goons in the chitari because he didn't want a goon like Ronan the Destroyer turning on him?

How many movies would be utter trash if the hero died at the hands of a goon? James Bond getting killed by a henchman. Bruce Lee getting killed by a guard. Batman getting killed by one of the Penguin's goon.

No liquor poured out for the dead homies. Just shot the fukkboi that killed him and watched him bleed out for ten minutes, while smoking her cigar :wow:. :demonic: goons on the roof like :whoa:, "You scary AF capitan...":merchant:

Balalaika is the coldest. :banderas:

Hotel Moscow is a top ten squad, easy.

I wrote a script 3 years ago called "Henchmen for hire" and was an animated tv show and the basic premise is the undelined part.:to:

Also

http://www.henchmenonline.com/

"Henchmen for Hire is a webcomic about three normal guys who hire themselves out as help for super villains"

All these daps had me thinking maybe I should make this idea into a script. I'll definitely check out your comic.

Batman got that work in the first Tim Burton movie by a goon. A black goon.

I agree, probably why when I watch any of the original James Bond films with Sean Connery I am usually like :patrice::ohhh: after Bond saves the day from the main villain that the henchman is always the LAST person Bond has to fight and gives Bond hell and damn near kills him.

Dragon Ball Z was the same way on dem movies. In this instance Cooler was defeated and the Z Warriors was just chillin but Cooler's goon was like :francis:....

Joker in the animated series got a mad at Harley and that one dude when they killed or captured Batman. Most leaders want to claim the W and not have side kick do it.
