Being 280 lbs and trying to crank out even 1 rep of pull ups is a challenge. Just bought a pull up station and i'll be damned if it collects dust because my strength to size game aint up to par. After assembling it I tried a few times to crank out some reps and I could literally feel my lats, shoulder and bicep s going into shock from the sheer load of my body weight and trying to stabilize. Just attempting 1 full pullup multiple times was enough to give me a credible workout. I can only imagine the gains i'll make once Im able to crank out full sets . Muscles sore but in a good way that makes me feel accomplished.

For the mean time, Im gonna use a resistance band to give me some assist til i knock some of this weight off and develop the associate muscle groups to even be used to the movement. It'll be like doing cable pulldowns as i'll be able to alternate the load til im strong enough. Ready to beast on these bars. That's my new goal for the year, Pullups.

2 of my all time favorite exercises. Used to do them daily, now I do them on leg and back days (today) :blessed:
