Why do people hardly do pullups or dips

When I started pull ups the first two weeks my traps got like this:

If you do it too much it'll end up like this though and not look right, kind of like you roiding

Wide grip, close grip, mid grip?

Underhand or overhand?

I can't do a pull-up still, but theres an assisting pullup machine that takes off like 30 lbs and I can bust out like 10 pullups.

I'm not overweight, but its the only exercise that I never see results from.

Maybe a bit of muscle gians, but def not getting stronger.

Just keep working at it breh. I started out 2 years ago not being able to do 10. I do both wide grip and close. Overhand wide and palms facing eachother. I just bang out 150 to 200 twice a week.

My routine now is just doing as many pull ups as I can on my first set and then do x10 til I reach 150-200. Before that I'd do as many as possible and then x5 til 100. You'll get there breh.

I just started the neutral grip pullups. I can do about 25 but it takes me about 4 to 5 sets to do. Dips I can do about 50. Can only do 1 wide grip right now. I'm at 295 pounds right now. Tryna get to 280. I'd be satisfied with that

wide grip over hand imo , works those lats good gets ur back wide

under hand or neutral grip works more biceps

I started incorporating slow towel pullups into my routine lately to improve my grip strength, and :why:these shyts is MURDER for your grip and forearms, noticeable strength gains in a matter of weeks:blessed: is anybody else fukking with this?
