Why do people hardly do pullups or dips

I love pull-ups but I have to keep my weight down to do large amounts.

I'm fairly slim (6'4", 195lbs) with long skinny arms. It's always harder for me to do stuff like bench press and pull-ups cuz of my body.

If I start getting more diesel and closer to 205 with the muscle gain then pull-ups become way harder.

It should still be the same if you gain weight

I JUST last night figured out a way to do home dips. I've been trying to find the items with the right height for the longest. I workout at home. So I started doing some chest dips last night. If I had a Dip or Pullup apparatus, than I'd do them at least 3 times a week.

i lag doing pullups. dips ive been incorporating lately with supersets.

Just keep at it, I used to HATE them, now I bang them out like its nothing.

I maybe old skool, but a man should be able to pull and push thier own bodyweight as a min
