Why do people hardly do pullups or dips

i've been working on my dips recently and i use to do sets of pull ups for a while but i got one of those total gym bars and i've been moving frequently over the past year and my doorways don't always accommodate the total gym hanging from the frames. i need to get better at dips though

Pull up and dips should be a staple to all niccas...

I do superset 10 pull ups 10 dips 4 sets

Also try switchin it up close grip/wide grip


When you get more advanced add weight. Your strength gainz will level up.


Off topic but niccas are sleeping on body weight squats..

Ain't nothing as humbling as getting on that pullup bar :francis:

When i was both 180 and 220 pounds i could rock 3 sets of 8-12 reps. 260 pounds now and that shyt is a struggle and humbling as fukk bruh. Now its constant tension reps and assisted pull up bar machine on light days

I get to number 6 and I'm assed out. I consider myself to be fairly strong as well. The pullup bar disagrees :francis:

Been slow bulking since fall 2013. I went from 180 to 220. Got to 220 pounds, made it up to 270 and my hips and lower back started talking to me lol. Im down to 260 and feeling alot better. Weird as it is, my strength was at an all time high at 220. Now I'm stronger at pushing movements and struggle on pulling exercises I used to beast on

weighted pullups 10x10 yesterday with 35lbs (268lbs total) added. Quality reps only :ahh: pause if needed, but get the absolute most out of each rep
