To be fair, most Black men including high earning Black men aren’t receptive to their wives not working. Most still expect their wives to work and contribute financially. Look at threads on here and most brehs are against being the sole financial provider. I don’t think most of the women who claim they want that lifestyle and didn’t come from it actually expect to get it. Realistically most know the best they’ll probably get is a man who covers the mortgage.

it might be one of those "you have to experience to know better" but depending on the level of money or even more so the self fulfillment, a lot of the women i know aren't giving their careers up even if the man's income alone can provide them a comfortable lifestyle.
it's like.... once you know you can make real money and it's somewhat easy, it gets addicting and motivation for yourself to keep going. i'm talking judges, lawyers, doctors, professors, management at top corporation, business owners... people solving problems and producing things in the world.
maybe yall are thinking of the type that hate their job and make a "decent" salary, so yeah may as well quit and go home. i'm talking about levels above that though and i don't see women giving it up just to say "i'm a stay at home wife/mom" or whatever. a lot of people actually want to do things in their life other than stay home. and on top of that, a lot of people in white collar do things and stay home at the same time these days so really doesn't make sense to give that money up lol

I think the issue is that some people really love to generalize races and genders. Remember your small little world doesn’t encompass the millions of other people out their living their own lives that you know absolutely nothing about. Just stop trying to put an entire group into your small circle. You don’t know most educated black women to come to any conclusion about them. You also don’t know most black male blue collar men to come to a conclusion about the type of women they get.

So, I came to the conclusion that there will be women crying about a lack of suitable Blk men regardless of the facts, stats and so on..
