Why did nikkas loves Georgetown so much in the 90's?

Didn't know much about college ball back then. Actually looks like he graduated when I was born so I wouldn't have anyways. I know Mourning had played there too. Looks like it was after Ewing tho. Mutombo played there too with Zo. That was quite the duo there.

I don't know how they didn't do better with these two on the same squad.

I had a pic of the two of them blocking a UNC player's shot at the same time, wish I could find it.

It wasn’t Iverson. He was there in the mid-90’s.

It was John Thompson and an iconic logo plus it was one of the biggest time for sportswear.

The squad with zo and mutombo didn’t do shyt. Ewing put them on at national level. Carried them thru the rest of the century off that respect

early 90s is when I remember the logo being popular, everything back then, atleast on the west coast, was about being a “G” (Gangsta) and calling everybody “dawg”, and wearing starter hats and jackets, the Georgetown logo just so happened to have an aggressive looking bulldog wearing a G on his cap, in the colors grey and blue which is why it was a hit
