All that love you see for Georgetown in those pics is residual from the early 80's Ewing squads. They were Black America's team.

plus it was one of the biggest time for sportswear.

this...was just reminiscing about this the other day when I seen someone w/ a florida gators flag...used to rock the hat and the sweater when I was a teen cuz the gator logo was cool...also fukked w/ UNLV gear (LJ and crew)...michigan (fab 5)...used to rock georgetown and syracuse shyt too

Everybody used to rock Georgetown jerseys and jackets. It was one of those teams that people rocked no matter where they from. I had the black joint with kente style accent

I was apart of a youth program that used to get free tickets to Georgetown basketball games at the Capital Center and MCI Center. Got to see AI ball from the nosebleeds :wow:

also georgetown had a nice squad too just @ the end of the 80s w/ charles smith...small dude who was nice...game didn’t translate well to the NBA tho
