I dunno how old you cats are but the Genesis was not fukking with the SNES from any angle. People are applying 2013 standards to the 16-bit era....talking about "but Sega had sports on lock"....son sports games were such a niche market back then it's irrelevant. Platformers/side scrolling action games were the #1 genre and Nintendo had that shyt locked down. Why do you think Sega created Sonic the Hedgehog? And Turbo-Grafix 16 had Bonk? And Sony created Crash Bandicoot? And Sega had Nights on the Saturn? Platformers ran the 90s.

And for the record I'm not talking about what you specifically liked to play. I'm saying, platformers were the most popular genre, and Nintendo had that on smash for damn near the whole decade, so they ran shyt.

I had 100s of games between both systems so check ya reading comprehension....and don't play yaself...wtf is a"flyer" game?...just cause u fell for the fukkin promotion don't mean nothin..u prolly one of them nikkas that believed in that "blast" processing shyt...lol...the SNES had damn near just as much mature feeling games as the Sega..no matter what the fukk was marketed...that's what u not seeming to understand...the Genesis' gritty look and feel was more due to the graphic and sound limitations than anything else...which is why Mortal Kombat 1 on the Genesis has a more gritty feel than even the Arcade version...u nikkas is lettin ur favoritism for the system cloud ur judgement...MK2 on SNES did literally EVERYTHING better than the Genesis...matter of fact..right now...jump on a lot of those games u felt was so great on the genesis...a lot of em don't hold up...u can't say that for the SNES games...

Reminds me of my co-worker, he's a hardcore Xbox fan only due to the fact Sony systems either killed or outsold the systems he owned (N64/Saturn/Dreamcast/Gamecube/Xbox) up until the 360.

I remember walking into Blockbuster and not being able to rent anymore Dreamcast games. Dude said they were not renting well and they had to take them off the shelves. shyt was one of the saddest days of gaming in my childhood. System had so much potential...goat fighting game system and it had the best sports games. Remembers playing Resident Evil Code Veronica for the first time. Beat my first RPG on Dreamcast...Grandia II shyt was beautiful.
