X-Men 2: Clone Wars was the superior entry and arguably one of the greatest Sega games of all time. :wow:

It added Psylocke, Beast and Magneto. Added 2-player co-op. We had to fight Master Mold, Tusk, Exodus, Apocolypse, Carmen Hodge, The Brood and The Phalanx. :whew:

Bringing Magnus to his senses was an epic gaming moment. :ohlawd:

Yeah, that second game >>>>> the first one.

I was a SNES kid, so I never played the Sega versions until I discovered emulators.
I remember renting this joint as a kid though:

In retrospect, I'm a little jealous of y'all Sega heads on this one. Your versions had Nightcrawler AND 2 player co-op :whew:
I also feel like Storm should have been in both versions, but I digress.

Between the two Sega entries, Mutant Apocalypse for SNES, the X-men Legends games, the Capcom fighting games, and the Konami arcade game, X-men had to have the GOAT video games of any superhero team :wow:

These new kids growing up with the Avengers don't even know...
