Owned them and never really liked them. They felt unpolished as hell to me.

going from games like Mario, lion king, and Aladdin to X-men was jarring for me.

If you had SNES over Sega you were probably a homo.
SNES was the superior system.
Mutant Apocalypse on SNES>>>> both Genesis games
Genesis was faster, but SNES had better sound and graphics. So with the exception of sports games, any game that was on both systems was better on SNES.

They don't hear you though. Sega had heat (Phantasy Star IV, Gunstar Heroes, Streets of Rage 2, Sonic 1-3 + Knuckles), but that SNES lineup is untouchable.

Chrono Trigger
Super Mario RPG
Super Metroid
Legend of Zelda: A Link to he Past
Super Mario World and Mario All Stars
Final Fantasy IV and VI
Mega Man X 1-3
Turtles in Time
Earthbound
Castlevania IV
Yoshi's Island
Donkey Kong Country 1-3
Secret of Mana
Super Mario Kart
Killer Instinct
Super-Punch Out
Illusion of Gaia
Actraiser
Lufia II
Star Fox

Not having to buy special controllers just to play Street Fighter 2 with 6 buttons :blessed:
The SNES had classics for days, and I still consider it the GOAT Nintendo system and a serious contender for GOAT system period. Only the first two Playstations are on that same level IMO.

(And even though they messed up the first Mortal Kombat, Nintendo came correct with MK2. The second Mortal Kombat was better than the first anyway.)
