He’d be nothing more than Evan McMullin

He’ll definitely only be a spoiler in the race. But these things are also personality and popularity contests, and beauty pageants. With his youth, looks, and appear to have some balls in the stage, I can see him making it to the final handful of candidates.

breh, the dems been falling over themselves hard since trump - the covid aid packages, rent relief, small biz loans, BBB and infrastructure plans, finger-pointing over "too liberal" messaging, lack of ruling firmly with a majority - filibuster, student loans, etc. never mind all these old dem sentors basically inside trading and being on corporate payrolls. stop making excuses for this party, they don't play anywhere near as hard as republicans and never take the party line the way rethugs do. fukk this party and the entire way our 3 branches of government are set up, our setup does not work for modern america
Which of things listed did they fall over themselves over?

I’m confused. Are you wanna of the progressive that think If world isn’t flipped upset down then everything is in crisis mode?

Dems are just going to have to fill a dehydrated Biden with that salt water shyt grocery stores use to plump up chicken and make it work:russ:

He’s the president, unless he dies it has to be him and Kamala again. Dems have to present a United front more than ever, we can not let a rethuglican win:yeshrug:

Don't think they have the "right" visibility but Julian Castro and Cory Booker were two people from the last cycle who lowkey had some decent policies but got lost in the mix

Warren needs to VP for Ayanna Pressley and let's get a MA ticket
:ehh: on both suggestions.

Newsom and Big Gretch.

Landrieu's time is past. John Bel Edwards would be interesting but he can't win a Democratic primary.

i see a lotta no's in here, but not too many yes's :lolbron:

biden's gotta bow out a one term winner, and sacrifice himself. because he takes every single republican attack on '21-'24 to the grave. "bidenflation, gas prices, covid, ukraine, 13 dead in afghanistan, hunters laptop", etc, etc, etc. every single shyt issue will be in the past. theres been too many negatives for a tired candidate like biden to get another 4 years at his age

and if trump is the nominee, how the fukk do republicans even have the time to attack a generic, moderate, brand new candidate like murphy? theyll be too busy having to defend the 24/7 attack ads of trumps violent riot :scusthov:

but this is only if trump is the nominee :hubie: if the republicans are smart enough to run Deathsantis, dems might as well just run the farthest left candidate as possible. wont be anything to lose

To be honest, I think the sweet-spot in terms of someone who could get elected and make the most meaningful change is someone who focuses on economic issues and tries not to focus too much on identity or group-specific issues.

But that kind of candidate will never be allowed. The powerful interests will ensure that they are simultaneously (and dishonestly) attacked for being 1) too much into "identity politics" and 2) not caring enough about "identity politics." When Bernie Sanders first emerged as a force, for example, he was attacked by corporate Dems on point 2), and when he started to change his emphasis to compensate, he was attacked in terms of point 1).

So I have given up on that. The best we can hope for in the US is a relatively sane corporate hack. So I want to find someone who fits that description that has the best chance of winning.
