And how we feel about Gavin Newsome? Why couldn't we throw Cali dream boy out there? :dame:
Newsom would get anhilated in a national race, even democrats in California are split on this guy, no way you get democrats in PA, NC, MI, etc to look at his policies, taxes, and what SF has become/represents and they say "gee, yea, this guy should spread his style of politics to my county"

Newsom wins popular vote, not electoral college

that is not at all what i was saying. the post i was responding to was talking about how biden's presidency has been ruined by manchema so he's a liability who shouldn't run again. if manchema ruining things is a reason he should be tossed in the bushes then how does his replacement not have their presidency ruined by manchema as well? it's wash, rinse, repeat. you're basically arguing for no democrats or one of manchema themselves being president as fake democrats.

Again, it's just damage control against the GOP. The reason Biden should be tossed in the bushes is because Manchinema ruining his term makes him unlikely to win another election (whether it's against Trump or not).

Even if they do the same thing to the next Democrat, it's still better than another Trump term and further right Supreme Court.

Myself and my own.
Or maybe you should focus on winning.

Sherrod Brown might have to be PUSHED because he keeps avoiding it.

We have to understand the political reality of white voters. Thats an insurmountable obstacle. Thats how Obama wins and Jesse Jackson doesn't come close.

Eric Adams is probably the only person who would become the next black president.
I am focused on winning, which is why I am more than willing to note where the dems have screwed up and even more, actually put forth some suggestions. Like I said, the dems NEED to build up some more stars and understand the concept of branding. Each time they have, they accidentally stumbled into it rather than utilized it fully. Obama understood it, Biden amazingly has it but doesn't seem to grasp how to use it fully (his "c'mon man' moment was part of this- the 'ole uncle Joe' persona he built up without realizing it is part of this). I should make a thread on the concept of branding as far as people or groups go. It'd be fun.
I actually agree with Adams to an extent. Adams is electable but he tends to put his foot in his mouth and is already embroiled in scandal (minor but still). Also his undue love for the police bothers me. Something should be done on that end at the very least (make police employment similar to physician or nurse employment complete with credentialing and so forth with more oversight).

well a different democrat won't have better results against trump. manchema aren't hurting biden specifically, it's the democratic brand as a whole.

This is really tough

I think they need a charismatic white guy who appeals to blue collar white voters and doesn't scare suburban whites

I don't know who that guy is

That literally sounds like Newsome.. that’s why I brought his name up. I just don’t know much about him.

I was thinking of someone like Mark Warner, but he is not charismatic enough

Seth Moulton is another name that comes to mind, but he also lacks charisma. His 2020 campaign went nowhere.
