Guess we have to agree to disagree then :manny: I a think younger Dem who polls well would have a better chance of winning (regardless of opponent) than Biden

Not only is there the fact that corrupt Dems ruined his term, but outside of that I'm pretty sure Biden's age will be used against him (even though there's no reason to think he's senile).

I'm not really sure chasing blue-collar white voters is really even worthwhile. At this point they're attached to the GOP pretty strongly.

Elections are decided much more by turnout than swing voters. IMO Dems need to worry more about getting their side to turn out than making futile attempts to get working class white voters.

Dem primary voters wouldn't go for either of those guys plus I don't see how they appeal to swing voters.

They need a candidate like Buttigieg but with a governor or senate seat.

Liz Chaney - Solely to stop Trump.

Chris Christie, Josh Hawley, Tom Cotton, Ted Cruz possibly. Depends on if they think Trump is weakened.

I think Kinzinger may run. But I think he's trying to decide if it's to solely stop Trump, or does he really want the throne.

They still need to get as many blue collar white as possible. It's not about winning them, it is about keeping the margins down.

Also, they need to keep the margins down among suburban whites.

Someone like Newsom would have many of the same problems that Hillary Clinton had with the white suburban and blue-collar electorate. He seems like an untrustworthy, out of touch liar.
