Where would you say Barack Obama ranks among important/influential African Americans in history?

I hardly think Tupac is even in the top 100 most important african americans in history.
There are so many politicians, scientists, activists and others (many who are unheralded) who deserve to be mentioned.

Honestly, you should kill yourself.

Harvard University uses his lyrics to teach about how literature can have an impact on social inequities.

And no one gives a fukk about what you "think", you have no merit or justification besides just being a complete CACing asshat. If an Ivy league school has classes based upon his literature, then obviously he is in the realm of one of the most influential African-Americans' of our time.

Harvard also offers classes on Witchcraft and Charm magic. :yeshrug:

It's cool if you think Tupac is right up there with, say, Thurgood Marshall.
Sounds legit to me.

I'm going to make a top 20 list real quick...not in order.

Barack Obama
Martin Luther King Jr.
Bobby Seale
Huey Newton
Charles Hamilton Houston
Malcolm X
Nat Turner
Mary McLeod Bethune
Marcus Garvey
James Baldwin
Booker T. Washington
John H. Johnson
Harriet Tubman
Thurgood Marshall
Frederick Douglass
W.E.B. DuBois
George Washington Carver
Fannie Lou Hamer
Charles Drew
Rosa Parks

Every last one of you mentioning 2Pac and any other entertainers need to kill yourselves...after you kill your fathers.

Cacs only like black people as athletes and entertainers. Some of you have learned well from them. Internalize white supremacy brehs.

Based on this thread, I'd say we should all kill ourselves.

  • "Hip-Hop Eshu: Queen bytch 101"
  • English and Textual Studies 350
  • Syracuse University
  • Description: Students in Professor Greg Thomas' class analyze how Lil' Kim's rhymes challenge male chauvinism and homophobia in the rap world, as well as transcend old standards of sexual politics. The Queen B herself paid the class a visit in November 2004, but naysayers have criticized the course for undermining a serious college curriculum. Unfazed, Thomas also teaches a graduate-level version called "Hip-Hop's Queen bytch Writings."
Imagine how influential and important Lil Kim must be to have a class based on lyrics she didnt even write. If she gets a statue in Europe its ova.

1. Malcom X
2. Marcus Garvey
3. Harriet Tubman
4. Frederick Douglass
5. Maya Angelou
6. Rosa Parks
7. Booker T. Washington
8. Dubois
9. MLK
10. Mo. Ali

That's my top 10. Entertainers do have a spot on the list like Michael Jackson. Ya'll nikkas can hate on Pac but he did have a lot of influence on Hip Hop and still is popular in 2013 and you nikkas are saying he doesn't deserve a spot? I place him in the top 50. Some of you nikkas putting him in the top 5, 10, or even 20 are reaching and some of the daily Pac haters coming outta the wood works like always trying to add their emotional two cents :dead:. Pac getting you  shows alone that a dead nikka has a spot lmao.

i think ppl are confusing influential with important, influence is about their impact on society socially. not directing this at the quoted post
