But you're not actually citing ways in which he influenced and the fruits of that influence.I lived in the hood and Pac had a lot of influence and impact on them so shut the hell up.
See, here you go with the "Thug" rhetoric. Malcolm X was a fukking petty criminal and drug user before becoming one of the most influential people of the 20th century. The message of most of his music has a place to be discussed as one of the best in his GENRE of music. I don't give a shyt about Harry Belafonte's work when comparing it to Pac's. If you turn on your light bulb they both have influenced a particular genre in a different way. And im NOT comparing Pac's social activism which was limited in comparison to Belafonte. Im speaking specifically in an artistic matter and having your face across the word in places like Kenya, Libya, Sierra Leone, Germany, Brazil and so on, shows that he has influenced or effected people's lives in a particular way. If he hadn't influenced them then why is his face in all of those countries?

The African American culture is based around the streets and ghettos whether some people want to admit it or not. Yea in 2013 alot of black people moved up in the ladder, but it all started in the ghettos. Hip Hop is music straight from the ghetto. 2pac is the most popular hip hop artist by a large margin.

I know. And as I already stated, Pac obviously brought deeper and more profound music than Rihanna. I only mentioned Rihanna because dude was making an argument around influence=name recognition. The Rihanna example was used to illustrate why that's not a sound argument.

There is a lot of influential Black people in their own respected ways. Im not comparing Pac to X or Pac to Maya Angelou like some of you retarded nikkas 
. Apples and Oranges.Pac's influence stems from this;
1. Helped pioneer socially conscious rap in the West Coast
2. Influencing rappers artistically and influenced a lot of rappers in their work ethic
3. His album AEOM is literally a blueprint for a commercial rap album
4. His music has had a big influence in African youth and he was a source of Black empowerment.
He didn't influence a genre in some way as someone like Michael Jackson but he has had a lot of influence through empowerment, lyricism, and image
