Take away Bron passing and he more than likely the all time leading scorer in nba history lol

Prime Penny can’t hold 2020 Bron jock strap

:russ:

Without the ball constantly in his hands he’d probably score the same.

Even so, he'd be a great scorer with no skill.

Nobody would respect it.

And he’d have to magically develop handles, or a post game and a consistent jump shot

Then he would be a completely different player

I’m saying take away Just the passing element from his game and judge him

Tell me his strengths/skills other than driving to the rim, jumping high & dunking hard?

You read it wrong breh

I said Lebrons elite skill, his biggest strength other than passing is his driving ability/slashing and athleticism.

my bad. I misread

But he do everything well except shoot free throws. Bron only true flaw (besides free throws) imo is something we can’t see and that’s between the ears. He too unselfish at times and it makes him passive in weird situations. But even with me saying that he done enough to debunk that. I love Penny but outside of handle I don’t think he do anything better

Honestly, cats your age and my age (I believe you a little younger than me?) are trying to decipher from archived information and pick a side based on informed judgement, because we didn't actually see Mike play like that...

Personally, I was around a fair amount of people over time who I felt were unbiased in speaking about Mike. Meaning, not a single person said he wasn't a great player or arguably the greatest, but there wasn't an inclination to say Mike was better than anybody who ever played...

It's like the Joe Montana/Tom Brady thing, not a single person can truly say because they didn't play in the same era...

For the record Bob Costas just gave an interview on Cowherd and said that while he is with the consensus opinion that Mike is the greatest ever, the margin of greatness between he Magic and Bird wasn't as wide as people today say it was. Costas is 68, and Cowherd is 56 and has said that very thing for years, that Jordan is #1 but the distance between he and a select few others is exaggerated:

(Tried to time stamp, if it doesn't work pick it up at 11:12)

who the fukk brings up a fakkit like cowherd and that old cracker bob costas in a debate about basketball :flabbynsick:

or bird for that matter :mjpls:

One thing about the triangle is that no one got a ton of assists.

When MJ dominated the ball running the offense in Doug Collins old offenses before the Bulls replaced him with Phil Jackson he averaged a triple double. Still averaged over 5 a game in the triangle de-emphasizing personal assist padding as a score first shooting guard and not a point guard. You put him in the ball dominant roles Harden and Bron have in their offenses today and those numbers would go through the roof... and conversely if you were to put Bron and those guys in an actual team offense where no single persona dominates and dictates every possession by themselves like Jackson's triangle then their counting stats would plummet.

And of course this is operating off of the INCORRECT fallacy that counting stats are somehow the end all be all indication of "all aroundness" that conveniently ignores actual indicators of such things... mainly two-way DEFENSIVE effort and prowess. Which is always left by the wayside when it comes to these Bron vs Jordan debates. Couldn't imagine why... :patrice::unimpressed:

how can anyone respect LeBron.
for purposefully making himself a higher draft pedigreed rampup version of steve smith and Jalen rose.
whom were both moved from their natural at pg to the sf.
which LeBron did to himself because he is no leader.
which is why he faced social dysfunction and internal dissention his rookie year.
complete with a whip on paper based roster.
playing the natural pg position he was drafted.
