What's the point of jailing a man who cannot pay child support?

Ya boys story ain't adding up....I know nikkas that ain't paid child support for a lot longer than 2 months who's baby mama snitched on em and they got threatened with jail too,then wuz free for a long time until the warrants eventually kicked in....they probaly just threw the fact that you can go to jail out there which is the case....but personally I know sum true deadbeats and they went without paying for a looong time before the warrant came down

The child support system needs to be fixed/overhauled anyway.

Hell, I'd rather see all child support moneys being capped and then pooled together and redistributed (that way, making sure that there aren't kids out there who DON'T eat because their daddies ain't shyt) but the government would fukk that up and that wouldn't be fair to kids with rich fathers. Oh well.

But putting somebody in prison because they can't afford child support is silly.

You get jailed b/c child support is a court order, and if you disobey any kind of court order, you go to jail. That's the simple part.

What most dudes don't do is report their change of income as soon as it happens ... you really can't just go on good faith that your bm isn't going to report you. nikkas need to protect themselves as best as they can. Get a lawyer or Google some research. Fill out forms and appeal 'til they can't stand seeing your ass.
