Lol I think with Gay's athleticism Rondo would give him a lot of good looks :manny:

I think Rudy is the quintessential "I want the ball in my hand so I can jab step forever and take a bad shot after seconds" player...

Rondo would definitely feed him but Rudy would turn that meal down...he want to go in the bag and grab his own fries he don't want anybody dumping them on the same plate as his burger

Don't disrespect Prodigious Payton like that

He's having a great rookie year. I don't think of it as an insult lol. I just mean he's a great passer and rebounder who struggles with his shot. Rondo was the man in the right system with the right team. I haven't fully given up on him but this Dallas exposal is something serious. Payton's already shown more of a willingness to at least try and score.

But it's not possible to give you every NBA PG at full health/strength... But would you sign him over lowry, lawson, irving, lillard, or wall, who i think are on a lower tier than Westbrook, cp3, and curry?

My answer is still "yes." But I'd assume most players would be healthy during free agency in the offseason.

If I'm a GM trying to build a legit contender, I choose Rondo over most.

Way to make a strawman argument, sir...

I'm trying to say that you are the one of the few people outside of rondo's family who would answer yes to the question "Would you sign him over lowry, lawson, irving, lillard, or wall?"

GMs don't give big contracts to players (PGs especially) based on one season alone. They look at the player's entire body of work. They're looking for players who can give them the best chance at WINNING when it matters---->PLAYOFFS & FINALS
:what:it happens all the time

I'm struggling to understand why people think Rondo would be better than Darren Collison in Sacramento. What does Rondo do better than Collison? :what:

I didn't read most of the thread but my question is how many of the assists that Rondo gets per game that any average ass PG wouldnt? Maybe 2-3, thats about +5 points.
Now how many times can teams double of him, + all the missed free throws and jumpers. You are losing about 8 points that way. Where Jameer Nelson(and he is below average) could at least space the floor and knock down an open 3 here and there. When he tries, Rondo can make up for that somewhat on D but overall still, thats at best the production of any average NBA PG
