rondo only works surrounded by veteran shooters.. today's NBA needs shooting from nearly every position..

1. Rubio will probably never be as good as Rondo.
2. Rondo's not a headcase.
I never said he will be good as Rondo, but he is still young and they are basically investing in him to be good. And if you don't think Rondo is a headcase then you clearly don't know anything about him.. go ask the Celtics, Mavs.

As opposed to rookie shooters? Or 3rd-year shooters? Your comment's silly.

yes exactly. rondo consistently looks people off.. would porb take most shooters out of there rhythm.. so he needs veteran shooters that will b ready.. nice try thoigh

He's made 3 free throws in 2015 as of today.

No, I don't.

If you gave me every starting NBA PG at full health/strength, Rondo's in my top 5.

But it's not possible to give you every NBA PG at full health/strength... But would you sign him over lowry, lawson, irving, lillard, or wall, who i think are on a lower tier than Westbrook, cp3, and curry?

The stoop with dat dope fanny padding

It's a different league now

The position is crazy deep and he's too scared to drive to the hoop cause some combination of his poor free throw shooting, his acl injury and the broken orbital bone

He www legitimately a top 5 pg and at times he was the best player in the playoffs

Position just got insanely deep the last two years while he's battled injuries

Either way, he's pretty much a lock to go to the Lakers and he will get at least 10 million a year

NBA has changed to the point that an point guard like Rondo who can't shoot is going to struggle...

He is in a very bad spot in dallas because he is surrounded by players ( Monta, Dirk, Parsons, Harris ) who actually prefer to create their own shot...

He would need to go to a team where the majority of players can't create their own shot, don't want to create their own shot, and he could just dominate the ball and get people open looks...

He could put up numbers like he used to in boston if that was the case...

Nothing has really changed in his game...still has quick feet, still can handle the rock well (all the turnovers he is getting in dallas is a product of playing with does who just don't know how to establish position for a pass outside of Dirk )

Off top of my head only teams I can think of that would benefit from a player like him are Orlando, Phoenix, MAYBE Sacremento...

Him in Sacremento makes a lot of since because he would find all types of ways to get Cousins the ball...

A max...nah not seeing it, his skill is a relic of an NBA that doesn't exist anymore

My answer is still "yes." But I'd assume most players would be healthy during free agency in the offseason.

If I'm a GM trying to build a legit contender, I choose Rondo over most.
