:umad: that everyone is now seeing the light. Rondo stan tears :blessed:

Rondo my dude but this shyt been painful to watch breh. I gotta keep it 100. He might be the worst point guard in the league right now.

Didn't even mention Jrue Holiday and Kemba Walker when they were healthy. That's like 18 point guards off the top who has played better ball this year :manny:

It's like the position evolved and Rondo can't keep up anymore.

Or he has no more HOFs to play with and he isn't allowed to pound the ball anymore. :mjpls:

He's always been this guy though, it's not a bad year as much as it is the curtain been pulled.

Like I said in a previous post, the bright lights have showed me some things about Rondo this year I didn't see coming, but I still have to see if this is a bad fit or if Rondo really not as good as I thought

I think that's a generally accepted fact. He was their best player in 2010 tho & they probably would've won w/o Perkins' ACL tear

Rondo was not out best player in 2010... This is why he's so overrated and people are generally shocked that he's playing so bad. You dudes keep making dumb posts like this. :snoop:

Rondo might've been the best player for a series or two but Pierce and Garnett were the celtics best players in the 2010 season easily.

That's fair. I hope it's just a bad fit since I really like the guy and want to see him do well.

I'd take a healthy Rondo over a healthy CP3.

Rondo's playoff performances > CP3's playoff performances

CP3 can't even lead a stacked team past the 2nd round of the playoffs. Dude's soft. The Peyton Manning of the NBA. But even Peyton won a ring...

EDIT:
Rondo- 47% career FG
Paul-47.2% career FG

The narrative about CP3 being a better shooter than Rondo needs to stop.

I posted their playoff numbers. Where is Rondo better at?

This dumbass really tried to compare scoring 11 PPG on 47% shooting to 18.6 PPG on 47.2% shooting. You're not even using TS% which takes into account Free Throws and threes.

Rondo's TS% is 50.8 and CP3 is 57% while Chris scores way more points.

Now which year in thecplayoffs was better than Chris's because I ain't seeing it. CP3 averages more points, assists, and less turnovers in a harder confrence so where exactly was Rondo better.

Bad year, my ass. The dude was playing with a great coach, an all time great defender, a GOAT shooter, and one of the best SFs of the decade. He was the 4th fukking option for most of the season and, for all of his assists, the offense got WORSE the more he was involved.

Every year that Rondo got more control of the offense, it got WORSE. It was exactly average his first year as an all-star and plummeted to 27 his 3rd year.

Simply put, Rondo isn't as good as most people thought. He has a few good games in the playoffs but look at his overall playoff stats. They're not near the likes of CP3.

The game has evolved. PGs can't get away with being bad shooters because defenses are becoming more complicated and analytics is showing more about players than we thought.

It's no surprise that the best teams in the NBA have huge offensive threats as their primary playmakers. Curry, Kyrie (Or Lebron),Westbrook, etc.

If the guy who controls the offense isn't a scoring threat, it makes it much easier to stifle passes and play to deny rather than play to contain.
