My answer is still "yes." But I'd assume most players would be healthy during free agency in the offseason.
If I'm a GM trying to build a legit contender, I choose Rondo over most.
yes exactly. rondo consistently looks people off.. would porb take most shooters out of there rhythm.. so he needs veteran shooters that will b ready.. nice try thoigh
Healthy is different from full health and full strength... full health and full strength, no one is seeing rose or cp3
I'm pretty much speechless, because the last time we saw him ball out in the 2011-2012 playoffs he was still averaging 4 turnovers a game, and shooting 47% while being wide open. He is the same player he was then, except his FT shooting got worse, and he's slower. I have a hard time believing there is a single GM in the league, or many people on the planet that would agree with you that Rondo is a better signing than Wall, Irving, or Lillard even if I can give you lowry and lawson because at least they are a few years older.
you might be letting your admiration for rondo cloud your judgement.
NBA has changed to the point that an point guard like Rondo who can't shoot is going to struggle...
He is in a very bad spot in dallas because he is surrounded by players ( Monta, Dirk, Parsons, Harris ) who actually prefer to create their own shot...
He would need to go to a team where the majority of players can't create their own shot, don't want to create their own shot, and he could just dominate the ball and get people open looks...
He could put up numbers like he used to in boston if that was the case...
Nothing has really changed in his game...still has quick feet, still can handle the rock well (all the turnovers he is getting in dallas is a product of playing with does who just don't know how to establish position for a pass outside of Dirk )
Off top of my head only teams I can think of that would benefit from a player like him are Orlando, Phoenix, MAYBE Sacremento...
Him in Sacremento makes a lot of since because he would find all types of ways to get Cousins the ball...
A max...nah not seeing it, his skill is a relic of an NBA that doesn't exist anymore
Orlando already has their version of Rondo in Payton.
I love Rondo on Sacramento. Would be great for Cousins and McLemore. Rudy too.

Totally right about Payton...don't think you want two point guards who can't shoot from 2, 3, or the freethrow line
