If you're a Black upper middle class person or business owner, I think there is some Republican law that you can take advantage of. Their laws are meant for not-poor people.

Social (or any) programs to address police brutality, generational and policy-driven poverty, and racism. Yeah, they've done nothing I can think of.

What has the party that black people have vehemently voted and marched against done for black people? :patrice:
A better question is what would you expect them to do for their ops?
You can’t make this up, these people are more concerned with what the party that won’t get their vote will do for them more than the party that will get their vote :skip:

They ain't give black people shyt
But.....that's not really a gotcha to Republicans
One of their main narratives is that Democrats bribe black people with basic policies to lock in their votes while running majority black areas into the ground
The Republican rebuttal would be that they give autonomy for all races to bootstrap themselves without all the laws and regulations to hold ppl back
Obviously it's a crock of shyt but I think a smart Republican would just spin it

What have the done for black people? Plenty actually

-Took away voting rights and political autonomy in Mississippi (Home to the biggest black population), Arkansas, Texas (Houston takeover), Florida and South Carolina.

-Vilified our history and removed it from schools (Florida, Texas and Alabama)

-Taken money away from HBCU’s in favor of white universities (Louisiana)

-Joined with the Asian community in removing Affirmative Action.

You get the idea.

I think it's because since majority of blacks vote for Democrats they feel that party should have something for blacks specifically, but in this country with republicans in the house trying to market policies like that will get struck down quick. Also some of the posters who don't like democrats don't do enough research on the policies that are helpful that Democrats backed because it helped everyone instead of only black people. But ultimately the problem are racist people who are backing Republicans is why the country is regressing.
Come on now these narratives have been played out. You could give democrats the presidency, control of all levels of government house, senate, congress whatever today and they still wouldn’t pass anything for black people.

You even acknowledged in your own post that the most they will do is pass legislation that benefits everybody.

Black Americans are not even allowed to be acknowledged as a specific and individual demographic of people in politics. We’re the only group that have pseudonyms such as black and brown, minority, underserved, underrepresented, urban, etc.

The only time democrats even acknowledge black people as a demographic is when they want to finger wag and tells us what we’re not doing right such as when we decide to withhold our vote.

What accurate black history is being taught in schools?

Explain how one minute you are complaining about HBCU funding but then you want affirmative action ie access to predominantly white institutions?

There are currently 101 HBCU’s in the country and about 2.72 million black students who attend college and university currently (roughly 15 percent of all enrollment).

HBCU’s in America currently enroll about 10 percent (270,000) of black students so yes, HBCU’s need more funding and resources to expand their numbers, their outreach, availability of programs, professor hiring, research papers, facilities and infrastructure.

However

Even if the HBCU’s community were to triple in size let’s say to 810,000 there still would be programs for black students who decide to attend PWI’s particularly in states where HBCU’s rarely exist (The Northeast, Midwest and Upper west). Those students will be affected by Affirmative action and that needs to be addressed as well.

Your other point about History being taught in schools doesn’t make sense. Oklahoma right now is trying to pretend the Tulsa race riots (which is currently a mandated topic) was not race related.

NOTHING!

This doesn’t mean you should blindly keep voting democrat either. How is that so fukking hard for people to understand.
Understanding requires the intellectual capacity to do so. Most black people vote democratically (nationally) out of emotionalism, not intellect.

This appeal to black emotionalism is evidenced by the performative routine dog and pony show put on by the dems ie bill Clinton playing the saxophone on a black late night talk show, Hilary Clinton going on the breakfast club and saying she keeps hot sauce in her purse, Barack Obama pretending to drink poisoned flint water, Kamala Harris lying and saying she smokes weed and listened to Tupac and snoop dogg in college before they ever came out, joe Biden flat out telling black people “they ain’t black” if they don’t vote for him. I could go on and on. They’ll do everything but talk policy to black people.

Take OPs response for instance:
I'm asking a simple question doesn't have shyt to do with voting and it's really pathetic I got nothing on page Two.
for OP to ask what a political party has done for black people but then say “it’s not about voting” when confronted with the fact that black people shouldn’t blindly vote for that parties opposition is a prime example of the intellectually dishonest passive aggression is what characterized these types of people. Intelligent people don’t respond this way.

When confronted with the cold reality that both parties are inherently racist to black people and neither party will do anything for the specific benefit of black people despite the centuries of racist policy targeted specifically at black Americans they’ll resort to these types of emotional disingenuous responses.

It’s not as much about the legislature believe it or not as the people behind it and their rhetoric

Republicans kind of just want to sit back and let everything go straight to hell. But while they’re doing that they’re getting on every platform possible and saying how much they hate everybody under the sun for everything. Most of what they try to do fails on that level unless it’s something big like what we’re seen recently in the Supreme Court but it’s more of the fact that a person is openly and verbally contemplating harming you every time they speak

Black people believe it or not actually gain entry into PWIs based on academic merit and extracurricular participation, not affirmative action. This idea that once affirmative action is gone, black people will not be able to go to college is actually racist. We aren’t even the primary recipients of affirmative action.

HBCUs fail not only because of government funding but also because black people want to attend PWIs. Take black athletes for instance.

HBCUs should be black people’s FIRST choice, not institutions that according to you, wouldn’t accept them if affirmative action wasn’t in place.

Black people should be graduating from HBCUs and using the income from higher wage jobs to donate back to the schools like white people do. That way we wouldn’t depend on a racist government to fund our education.
