What have the Republican Party done for Black People? Or some proposals they have introduced to help Black People?

I don't think posters who dislike democrats are rooting for republicans, but are disillusioned with politics to the point where they want to see the country collapse.

If they are disillusioned with politics than why are they the first ones in political threads and only got smoke for Democrats?

Breh, the modern Black GOPer ain't even close to Colin Powell's intellect nor his ability to bridge differences. The Black GOPer of today is a half-azzed version of Trump mixed with Jordan Peterson and a little Herschel Walker. IF you want to gain the privilege of being stupid, just say so.
Idk why but this was funny as fukk :lolbron:

I think it's because since majority of blacks vote for Democrats they feel that party should have something for blacks specifically, but in this country with republicans in the house trying to market policies like that will get struck down quick. Also some of the posters who don't like democrats don't do enough research on the policies that are helpful that Democrats backed because it helped everyone instead of only black people. But ultimately the problem are racist people who are backing Republicans is why the country is regressing.

I have one. Romney Care was the inspiration for Obamacare. Though, I assume you all are aware of that.

Yeah. It's hilarious when you think of the public perception from the right on the two plans. Republicans these days have to be against it just because Obama's name is attached to it even though the heritage foundation laid the original groundwork for the plan a decade earlier. Then again Obamacare was a compromise on the original plan (btw fukk Joe leiberman)

Kinda goes to show you that anti blackness is more important than policy to them.

and that crime rates in Red States are squeaky clean even though Jackson, Mississippi has more homicides per capita than Chicago.

Black people in the South kill more Black people than Black people in the North isn't really a shot at Republicans.

almost everything he cites happened before the parties switched.

opportunity zones are largely for tax deferment or tax cuts from capital gains which is why they probably supported it,

edit:

My question is this: why can't upper middle class or above Black people take advantage of that?

They've done things to help Black people as individuals but nothing to help the collective.

What do "Black People" need the government/politicians to help us with? Can "we" even agree on what these issues are and how they can be best addressed?

Serious question.

Because you think of yourself being inferior and you see your race as second class citizens.

Why is illegal immigration onlt affecting Black people ? You ever wondered that ? Why Asians Indians and white Euros not worried about it but the Black race should ?

ok, show the specific immigration laws that have led to improvements in the black community...

So you basically saying that blacks are formally uneducated and have no specific job skills, so we doing the bare minimum wage jobs.

Historical

Using census data from 1960-2000, the authors trace the evolution of wages, employment, and incarceration rates for particular skill groups in the black and white populations. They then relate the trends observed in these variables to the increases in immigration experienced by each skill group. The observed correlations suggest that immigration is an important underlying factor influencing the observed trends. In particular, their analysis finds that a 10 percent rise in immigrants in a particular skill group significantly trimmed the wages of black and white men alike. For African-Americans, the decline was 3.6 percent. For whites, it was actually slightly higher: 3.8 percent. Beyond that, however, the black-white experience differed markedly, especially for low-skilled workers. Take employment rates: from 1960 to 2000, black high school dropouts saw their employment rates drop 33 percentage points -- from 88.6 percent to 55.7 percent -- the authors found in their analysis of census data from 1960 to 2000. The decrease for white high school dropouts was only roughly half that -- from 94.1 percent to 76.0 percent.

One reason, the authors argue, is that black employment is more sensitive to an immigration influx than white employment. For white men, an immigration boost of 10 percent caused their employment rate to fall just 0.7 percentage points; for black men, it fell 2.4 percentage points.

That same immigration rise was also correlated with a rise in incarceration rates. For white men, a 10 percent rise in immigration appeared to cause a 0.1 percentage point increase in the incarceration rate for white men. But for black men, it meant a nearly 1 percentage-point rise.

About 800 employees of the main Cloverhill Bakery on the Northwest Side and the company’s bakeries in Cicero and Romeoville lost their jobs when the audit found many were hired after presenting fake or stolen IDs.

...

Some might see what happened at Cloverhill as a sign of things to come under the Trump administration, with fears in corporate America and among immigrants of increased government crackdowns.

But the story of the 137,000-square-foot bakery in Galewood on the Northwest Side of Chicago appears to be more complicated than that. It precedes the Trump administration and involves tensions between African American and Hispanic workers, according to current and former employees, a former company consultant and a worker activist group.

“They’re being pitted against each other, so they don’t get along,” says Dan Giloth, a community organizer on the West Side. “We believe this is a divide-and-conquer strategy.

“Unfortunately in Chicago, there is a widespread segregationist employment model to contract out most of your production work through temporary agencies and look the other way when they target employees by race or immigration status,” says Giloth, a former union organizer who is project manager for the group Coalition Against Segregation of Employees. “The goal is to create a very vulnerable workforce — and keep the wages low.”

...

Aryzta bought Cloverhill in 2014. At the time, according to bakery employees and community organizers, most of the employees were natives of Mexico, most who’d been hired through Labor Network, a temporary-employment agency.

But many of those workers weren’t temporary in the dictionary sense of the word. Most were so-called “permatemps” — temp workers who actually were permanently employed at Cloverhill. Most had been there for years, at least, and some for decades.

In 2015, under the Obama administration, ICE inspected the documentation of Labor Network’s employees at Cloverhill. In May 2017, the Trump administration sent letters to about 800 employees, saying they weren’t authorized to work in the United States, records examined by the Chicago Sun-Times show.

Those Hispanic employees didn’t return to work
, leaving the bakery desperate to fill their jobs. So the company turned to another placement agency, Metro Staff Inc., and it provided Cloverhill with workers screened through the government’s “E-Verification” program. Most of those new employees are African American.
....

According to a former consultant to the bakery, MSI paid the black workers $14 an hour, versus the $10 an hour the Mexican workers were making through Labor Network.

If republicans disavowed white supremcists they’d split the black vote in 1/2 but they can’t because that’s their base.

Black people have to put money behind candidates we like that have our interests at the forefront.

Republicans could "disavow White Supremacists" and their policies on education, health, housing, guns, police, justice system, the environment, etc. would still fukk over Black Americans. They'd have to do a LOT more than just disavow White Supremacists to get a significant Black vote. And they won't do it, because their entire financial base is corporations that make their money off of exploitation and stopping the exploitation would kill the gravy train.
