The Bronx Zoo is nice :ehh:

Riverdale is nice too, although there's nothing to "visit" there though.

Pelham Bay Park, Van courtlant Park, etc

Broadway from where the 1 train ends to the Bronx/Yonkers Border

The mall area around Co op City has that middle america feel :ahh:

But other than that The Bronx :shaq2:

I lived in Midtown For 2 Years and Downtown Brooklyn for 2 "4th and Atlantic'

That area of Brooklyn is by far my favorite Neighborhood in NYC

I had Park Slope, Forte Green, Prospect Park, Clinton Hill all 10 mins walking distance from where I lived :ahh:

My Pops Forever RIP
There are still parts of the Bronx that look like 3rd world Country :damn:

I lived in NYC for 4 Years.. and The Bronx is just a dusty ass concrete jungle

Although it does have its urban charm, there no real reason to visit unless you're trying to catch a yankee game :manny:

The Roads in the Bronx have to be worst constructed pieces of shyt in america

Morris Ave wuddup!!!

Not a house basement, it was a basement to a local store, it was a lot larger, I used to help clear out the inventory so we could get people down there. But it's still a tight fit. You couldn't even move really.

All stuck together like worms eh? Man people don't even do that anymore, so many regulations.

You're right, though, that's why they didn't leave posters up, you usually got to those joints by knowing someone or being a friend of a friend, but you know how that works. People always gotta sneak in a crew, especially my Puerto Rican and Dominican peeps.

Still Summer of 88 :dj2:

But seriously it must have dope in the 90s, especially the mid 90s

Bumping Illmatic or IWW in a CD player while walking though the 90s New York :ahh:

*Remember looking up at the WTC towers pre 9/11* :to:

Beat Street in Fulton Mall :obama:

Other than the WTC, Crime rate drop and gentrification, it wasn't too different than today from what I noticed.

Nothing like running into Pete Rock, 6th July, or Busta Rhymes while shopping for records.

I actually have a NYC transit subway token. I keep it because it represents where I came from. Plus, it's kind of cool.

:heh: at the washer machine comment, its funny as cars are banned on Futon Street in the mall area and you can't bring a washer machine on the bus :mjpls:

I loved the fact that Beat Street was in the Basement, made the vibe of that store much doper, espically when all the Hip Hop posters in the staircase, that store was Hip Hop at its finest :ahh:

But that mall across the street was :flabbynsick: in its final years

I'm glad that part of Fulton Mall got thrown in the bushes :birdman:

Altantic Mall >>>> that old POS mall.
