I’m not a fan of Ainge but the idea he wasn’t supposed to accept that lopsided trade in his favor is ridiculous.

A lot of people on here are full of shyt. I remember a whole bunch of people on here shytting on IT during that playoff run, especially during the ECF.

Now people pretend like they outraged at the Celtics for taking their advice
People are pulling a 180, and there is proof in the old pages/topics.

I don't buy that "ran him into the ground" or "if he sat out he would have gotten criticized" bs. The latter is weak

Players don't give a shyt about criticism, especially when it comes to their livelihood. IT chose to play and took a gamble by doing so....and it backfired.

I ain’t gonna lie. I would have did that shyt too
:francis: Even if IT is healthy and IT age is changed to the same age is kyrie you still trade him for kyrie. Not rocket science, one is more valuable then the other. Not up for debate

But then you put on factors that it is 5’9, 30, contract is coming up and he wants a super max? You are a absolute fool to not take the trade

look anyone would have traded irving for thomas but its how the celts did it. They cost dude mad money and now isaiah is almost 30 with a bad hip and will be lucky to get anything more than the vet min next year or even a nba deal.

Its business though. That loyalty bs is contradictory. So funny how all these feels get involved in a fukkin business. shyt is based on numbers and analysis.

I mean fukk boston 4 life. But not becuase they made the better business move.
Sleazy "business" practices cost organizations benificial partnerships all the time in the real world..... You want to operate your organization in a callous and exploitative fashion... Thats your choice... However don't complain about the repercussions of your "businesses" decisions :francis:

Lebron certainly "cared about criticism" so much so that the year he left Miami he tried to change his whole public Persona to the "villain" character to combat all of the negative effects from the descion telecast..... He now says he should have never did that and regrets it due to the way it was received by the public
