This is what the fukk I'm talking about.

He played AFTER HIS SISTER DIED and gave 100.000% and played his heart out.

And you dog him like that? Sure he's said some questionable things on social media and in interviews (brinks truck comment kind of jinxed things).. but after what he did for that team, you just drop him like he's a call up from the G-League who didn't come through when he got his opportunities.

IT was seriously saying that he thought his NBA career may have been done after things spiraled downwards after that Danny Ainge bullshyt and the Lakers mismatch, and that he only got ONE opportunity to play this season..

Any player should seriously think several times before signing with the Celtics.

From a basketball perspective Ainge made the right decision on IT. You have to be delusional not to acknowledge that. The kyrie saga hasn't gone that well for them either but the book is still open on him.

Not trying to defend it but Ainge wasn't wrong for trading a player with a bad hip for a superior player with more size and who was just plain better in Kyrie. No one forced IT to play through all the shyt he did that year. He could have sat out the playoffs and still probably got paid by someone off what he did that regular season.

I don't remember exactly what happened with IT and Ainge but the NBA is a business and loyalties are always fluid. IT was balling then he hurt his hip and hasn't been the same since. I wouldn't have resigned that lil n*gga either.

Ainge led him to believe he was gonna be kept

Told him that it was worth playing through injury and risking his body, because the celtics could attract free agents like Gordon Hayward to play with him

Only for Ainge to ship him off for Kyrie the second he was available

:wow:
