They would've beat Bron regardless if just one of Brown & Rozier didn't have the worst game of their careers

We don't know what would've happened if IT didn't get hurt. He might have been traded regardless because Ainge didn't want to give into his contract demands. There's no guarantee he gives a 30 year old 5'8 PG the max or close to it.

Also you might want to wait for them to actually lose to the Raptors or Bucks and for him to leave free agency before presenting arguments as if they're factual events that have already occurred :skip:

give it up..........they went against the king and failed...IT never got his opportunity
also a 29 ppg player would have been much better than terry rozier

He's putting up numbers and the team isn't winning and he has more than enough talent to have this team over .500. Call it what you want, why is his team under .500? LeBron can take a team with scrubs and make the playoffs every year.

Harden has the Rockets way over .500 with dudes that are D-level talents. What's AD's excuse?

So he's not LeBron? No one since MJ has been LeBron, that comparison is unfair to anyone.

So why aren't they winning? Maybe it's the coaching, maybe it's bad chemistry, maybe it's the wrong mix of skill sets, it could be a lot of things. AD looked better in the postseason last year than Harden has looked in any postseason ever.

I'm just not going to buy any magical thinking that some stats are worth more than others unless there is specific evidence and reason given. AD scores at an efficient rate and defends well. You can't make that stuff up - he's going to help someone if he's in the right situation.

I mean...the Celtics did get swept in 2015 with IT. And they would've gotten their shyt pushed in in 2017 regardless of if his hip was healthy or not. The Cavs were playing at a level that they just didn't have the talent level to compete with.

He sure would've been a better option than Rozier. But the point is that they didn't need him to beat the Cavs. All they needed was to not have 2 of their top 4 players have historically awful game 7 performances and the series was theirs.

And again, there's no guarantee IT still would've been on the team for that playoff run. And considering in that reality IT doesn't get traded for Kyrie, the Cavs might have been a better team because they might have gotten a better return from some other team. Or maybe somehow someway they convince Kyrie to stay. It's a slippery slope operating off hypotheticals.

Oh he's going to help someone but he is not winning a championship as the best player on his own team. He's going to need someone like LeBron to carry him. If he did end up in Boston it would have been Kyrie taking the big shots.

You didn't answer my question tho. Harden has the Rockets 8 games over .500 with d leaguers up and down the team. AD hasn't shown he can carry a team like that.

eh, this comes across as a tad bit emotional to me...basketball is a business and should be treated as such

there's also a reason why IT keeps bouncing around from team to team, same way jimmy butler does :francis:

If its about loyalty why dont AD stay in NO

:mjlol:
This. I don't know why anyone acts like there is loyalty on either side. Davis was talking about loyalty and how NO was good to him and he is still asking to be traded half way through his contract.

If the Celtics were disloyal by trading Isaiah, any team who trades for Davis is also disloyal because they're getting rid of players they are supposed to be loyal to in order to acquire him.

It's business. If you're trying to be successful, you're only loyal to those who continue to benefit you.

People still fighting over the services of suped up Kevin Love I see.

If AD wants rings he goes to Boston or waits till 2020 and signs with the Warriors. If he wants Western Conference finals losses and to be the next Dwight Howard he goes to LA. That team ain't beating this Warriors team, the team they construct post KD, a fully healthy Nuggets or Boston. And they wouldn't beat whatever monstrosity KD/Kyrie or KD/Kawhi would put together.

Lakers best hope is keeping all their talent and signing Kyrie in the offseason.
