In my opinion, black fortunes will change the quickest with education
And by education I mean becoming a scientist or doctor or something like that not that cliche shyt like financial literacy

We're getting slightly OT but you gonna have to change the culture before that happens. :ld:

As long as "street dudes" aren't solely a thing to be embarrassed by and "square dudes" aren't seen as cool, young brehs won't aspire to be doctors or scientists en masse. :francis:

Like, how is this a "both sides" situation?:heh:

We always knew the Republicans were racist and expect them to be racist. That's why none of us vote for their asses.

The problem is that the Democrats you idiots vote for are just as racist and unlike Republicans get 90% of the Black votes to mass incarcerate and whip nikkaz asses

Or have y'all forgot.:comeon:

Anyone talking about "what about Black-on-Black crime" should be ignored.

Black Lives Matter is an affirmation in a world that has made it abundantly clear that, to many, Black lives don’t matter. The movement represents a generation of Black people who are taking the metaphoric baton from ancestors who were enslaved, tortured, and killed for merely existing in the bodies in which they were born. The Mapping Police Violence project has found that Black people are currently more than three times as likely as white people to be killed by law enforcement. This enduring violence is upsetting, and in the aftermath of the killings of George Floyd and Breonna Taylor people got upset — on a global scale. In response to this rallying cry for respect and justice, some have tried to discredit the movement, simultaneously placing blame on Black victims with a phrase that has been used by white supremacists for years: “Black-on-Black crime.”

A report released by the U.S. Department of Justice in 2017 found that of all the violent crimes committed between 2012 and 2015, 22.7% were committed by Black people, and 63% of those were committed against other Black people. This is in comparison to 44% of all violent crimes committed by white people, 57% of which were committed against other white people. According to this data, white people commit crimes against other white people at about the same rate that Black people do against other Black people. But despite these numbers, people aren’t discussing the “white-on-white” crime problem. When a white person commits a crime against another white person, it’s just called a crime; race isn’t a factor, and that’s intentional. Using language like “Black-on-Black crime” perpetuates the myth that intraracial violence is specific to the Black community — a myth that implies Black people are inherently more violent. This tactic has been used to justify the mistreatment of Black people since the abolishment of slavery.

During this time of increased racial tension, the opposition will point to other aspects of supposed racial importance that are “overlooked”. The political dog whistle that is Black-on-black crime is an example of this behavior.

Black-on-black crime is a phrase that has been used as long as I can remember to disrupt the conversation and change the narrative from racial bias and discrimination to how blacks are the biggest threat to other blacks. The myth helps to propagate the notion that black people are inherently violent criminals. The most used statistic is that black people make up 13% of the population but 54% of all murders. While technically true, that statistic is misleading. Black people make up 54% of all murder arrests despite being 13% of the population; the data cited does not account for the number convicted of murder.

A study by the U.S. Department of Justice shows that white-on-white crime is comparable to the rate of so called black-on-black crime. From 1980 to 2008, numbers show that murder was intra-racial. Meaning that the murders happened within the same race. In fact, 84% of white victims were killed by a white offender and 93% of black victims were killed by a black offender. If the rate of intra-racial violence is similar in both races, why does no one talk about white-on-white crime?

Also, important to note is Black prisoners convicted of murder are 50% more likely to be innocent than other convicted murderers. One important factor of this phenomenon, is tied to the race of the victim. Those convicted of killing white victims were more likely to be innocent. Though only 15% of murders by black people involve a white victim, 31% exonerated black prisoners were convicted of killing white people.

Sadly, no lies were told. Brehs are more likely to kill and be killed in this country. :mjcry:

  • Of the offenders for whom race was known, 52.4 percent were black, 45.2 percent were white, and 2.4 percent were of other races. The race was unknown for 4,077 offenders. (Based on Expanded Homicide Data Table 3.)

Cacs are also less likely to be arrested for committing them shmurdas.

That's for America's largest cities. Crime happens elsewhere.
