When? The only people saying this were him, Skip Bayless, and other people looking to be "different".

There has not been a time since Mahomes played his first season that this should have even been a debate. There are plenty of QB debates to be had, but I don't see how this ever should have been a debate.



Edit: I will say that Watson was an excellent QB at that time, but I definitely wouldn't have said he was on the level of Mahomes. However, his fall off has been crazy.

He's also the one QB I bet on to win MVP this year. .
