This is why y’all get called tethers and get mad.

The reason why the ADOS/FBA designations were created is because during reparations discussions, the government stated that black Americans can’t receive reparations because “race-based” policy is now illegal. By creating a lineage-based designation, black Americans can be eligible for reparations.

The fact that you wouldn’t be eligible for reparations because of your lineage is why you’re claiming it’s “divisive” This type of tribalistic mindset is the real mind virus.

And this is why Kamala came out as against reparations. Because her own linage would expose her as not being “black” and a “tether” :leon:

But somehow she still wants solidarity among the “African American community” for votes

OP is asking if both Kamala and Obama are both biracial, why didn’t Obama receive the same scrutiny as Kamala and several people gave reasons why. One of the main reasons is because Obama says he is black and Kamala says she’s Asian. Obama has a black family, Kamala has a white family. The definition of blackness has nothing to do with the conversation.

The definition is caked in the conversation since the conversation centers around both being scrutinized because of their perceived "Blackness."

I’ve never seen any article or clip of Kamala saying she’s a black woman. If you have that you can post it here.

I already answered this. You responded with “what is the definition of blackness” I told to you it’s irrelevant. The discussion isn’t “Kamala ain’t black because xyz definition”
The assertion is “Kamala isn’t black because this entire time she has been saying she’s Asian” Don’t claim to be black to pander to black people. Especially when you spent your entire career imprisoning black people.

It's not irrelevant. Saying "Kamala isn't Black because..." just makes it reasonable to ask for the definition of Blackness because you are invalidating her "Blackness" over her claiming to have Asian heritage.

I just gave you definition of the one-drop rule. It wasn’t to distinguish between white/negro. The one drop rule is why Kamala’s father explicitly stated that he’s not “negro” he’s “Jamaican”

We don't know the reasoning of Kamala's father, and unless you have some write-up he did, her father is irrelevant to this part of the discussion.

But, the one drop rule was to distinguish white from Black. That definition you posted does not invalidate that as a fact. It just further reinforces it.

Obama has ALWAYS claimed his black side and his father was 100 percent African and even his white mother had African American ancestry somewhere down her bloodline. he also married a black women, started a black family and did community organization work in Chicago.

Kamala in comparison has a white husband, has a known history of locking up black men for petty weed possession in California and then laughed about it and later on in an interview brag about smoking weed herself while listening to Tupac and she only started claiming her black side when it became convenient for her for the election.

People do know the difference between “black” and African American right?

You can be Black (of African descent/diaspora) but not African American

And you can uniquely be “Black” as it exclusively refers to Black Americans whose descendants are from slavery IN THE UNITED STATES ONLY.

Such as Hip hop is considering a part of BLACK culture NOT AFRICAN or Caribbean culture

ADOS are Black people but not all Black people are ADOS. Would you agree with that?

Kamala being black or not isn't the issue. The issue is the lying and the pandering. Why don't people get that, or care to? If she was straight up about who she is and wasn't pretending more people would entertain voting for her, or at least be enthusiastic. But if you're faking the funk, why do you expect black people to just jump on board? Because you washed greens in the bathtub? Cause you had Megan at your rally? Cause you dance with black people?

Do they think we're dumb or something?

This just in
they do. :hmm:

About Barrack, he has the benefit of having a majority black family, that imagery is something that people care about.

Right. But not ALL ADOS are FOUNDATIONAL BLACK AMERICAN

It’s that simple.

Kamala isn’t BLACK AMERICAN and some would say she’s not even BLACK CARIBBEAN

But she’s playing the black role and she’s not even in the slightest African American

now if I wanna play “devils advocate” and get more negs (because why not) you can even say Kim Kardashian is technically more “African American” culturally because at least she’s raising “black” kids and has technically has a black family :yeshrug:
