I said it in my original thread. Neither Obama or Kamala are Black. Both claiming "Black" was a business decision for Politicians, since the past 30 years campaigns have been more about Identity Politics on both sides than actual Policy

What does "Black" mean, and what qualifies a person as being "Black"?

It’s very simple: Obama was raised by a white woman but he still claimed his black lineage. Kamala was raised by an Indian woman and claimed her “Asian” lineage. Or as her mother called it, her “Caucasian” lineage. She uses her black lineage only when it’s useful.

You’re actually making a valid point though, which is what all the criticism is about.

Why can’t Obama claim he’s white but Kamala can claim she’s Asian? :jbhmm:
Why did she go to an HBCU then

I kinda feel the one drop rule has lost a lot of clout since 2008 it's based a lot on culture now (who you date, how you sound, where you grew up) oh and honourable mention of
full

Definitions aren't irrelevant. When I usually enter these discussions, people cannot define anything, so everything devolves into a bunch of meaningless ramblings based on ill-defined concepts/words.

But, the one drop rule was to distinguish white people from Black people. It wasn't a rule to distinguish Asians from Black people.

Using the California Supreme Court definition:

The reason definitions are irrelevant is because Kamala’s blackness isn’t being questioned based on any definition of blackness.

Her blackness is questioned based on her previous self-identification. Nobody has yet to find any evidence of Kamala Harris saying “I’m a black woman” It’s always other people imposing a black identity onto her. She’s always said “I’m Asian”

We can delve into various definitions of “black” but it leads nowhere because it’s not an actual science. It’s race science that white people adjust and refine as they see fit to advance their socioeconomic racial agenda. For example, in the definition you posted:

the words "Black person," in the 14th section must be taken as contra distinguished from White, and necessarily includes all races other than the Caucasian

By this defintion, Kamala’s Indian mother is “black” There’s nobody on planet earth that would say her mother is black. Her mother is even listed as “Caucasian” on her birth certificate.

But, the one drop rule was to distinguish white people from Black people. It wasn't a rule to distinguish Asians from Black people.
This is incorrect, the one drop rule wasn’t to differentiate between who is white vs black. The one drop rule was used to determine who is black/negro. Meaning if you have a black ancestor or “black characteristics” you are black. One thing to remember is context. There weren’t as many racial groups back then. The largest 2 racial categories were white and negro. The rule was created to prevent interracial marriages between white and blacks.

The one-drop rule was a legal principle of racial classification that was prominent in the 20th-century United States. It asserted that any person with even one ancestor of black ancestry ("one drop" of "black blood")[1][2] is considered black (Negro or colored in historical terms). It is an example of hypodescent, the automatic assignment of children of a mixed union between different socioeconomic or ethnic groups to the group with the lower status, regardless of proportion of ancestry in different groups.[3]

Most of those who care about this today wouldn't have cared about this back when Obama was running. There were a few who griped about it but they were definitely a smaller minority.

Reason being, they weren't infected by this specific mind virus yet. Once they had someone tell them to care about in enough numbers, it's suddenly important to them. The Tariq nasheeds, Yvettes, and random divisive psyop Twitter accounts hadn't gotten to them yet.

and what does her being full "black" or not have to with politics? Seems like something an unpolitical nikka would focus on.
Because most black people vote based on superficial reasons like race. I think I told you that already.

he wasn't going against trump, or maga republicans trying to divide an conquer stupid nikkas amongst us that take that bait.
He also was married to an intelligent sista that kind of gave him extra leeway.

If he was married to someone that looks like this:

.....he wouldn't have had a chance st winning.

Kamala will get more slack as a woman married to a white man (white supremacy) but she'd get a little bit more love if she married a breh
