Black people were more on code and less entertained by random white folks trying to define who is and who isn’t Black.

Nah we not gona do that either. While people largely don’t gaf about ‘who’s black’ unless they’re trolling/trying to get votes.

The greatest threat and the most prevalent instance of racial jockeying is from black folk. Infighting. To say otherwise is laughable and an embarrassing lack of accountability.

Are you making a point here?

It’s hard to tell.

U wasn’t there.:stopitslime:

U wasn’t there! :pacspit:

I’ve never seen more black people in my life. Happy. Engaged. Familial. Obama was BLACK.

The problem is a lot you A) Wasn’t outside. Literally, B) You gauge the culture from the Coli. So when you say ‘we’ you talking about HERE :heh:

It’s times like this that you may have to look in the mirror and realize your world view is limited. The things you think are highly prevalent based on the net —-idk , like women with BBLs, black women with white men, etc —-aren’t happening nearly as much irl. It’s catching up, but that was NOT the case in 2008. These revisions talking points yall are spewing were NOT the norm it wasn’t even close.

Exactly. Remember in her breakfast club interview, they tried to help her out by asking her “what music did you listen to in college?”

She tried to pander to black people and said “Tupac and snoop dogg” She attended college in the 80s before they even came out.

Another one of those right-wing lies that low-information idiots like to pass around.

Fact check: Kamala Harris did not say she listened to Snoop Dogg and Tupac while smoking marijuana in college

DJ Envy asks Harris what music she listens to. Before she has a chance to answer, Charlamagne Tha God interrupts by asking what music Harris listened to while smoking marijuana in college. Harris laughs but ignores Charlamagne Tha God’s question and responds to the original query of what music she listens to by saying “Snoop Dogg”, “Tupac” and adds that she loves “Cardi B”.

Liars cut out DJ Envy's question to make it look like Kamala was responding to Charlamagne, when she was actually responding to DJ Envy. Then they cut out the part where she throws Cardi B in there because that would have made it OBVIOUS that she was talking about what music she listens to in general and wasn't talking about "college".

Because Obama was married to a black woman, and had Black Children.

Kamala is married to a white man, and has white step children.

Obama proposed to a White girl when he was in his 20s. Twice.

Kamala dated Black men throughout her 20s and 30s. She didn't meet her white husband until she was 50 years old.

So I guess by your standards, Kamala was Black for most of her life but lost her cred in middle age? While vice-versa for Obama?

Those aren't my standards. I was just pointing out the perception they give to the public.

- Obama's Black father left when he was 2 years old and he never had any relationship with him.

- Kamala's parents didn't get divorced until she was 7 and Kamala continued to visit her father during weekends and summers and maintained a relationship with him throughout high school.

So by actual Black upbringing experience, Kamala had much more than Obama did.

- Obama was raised in Hawaii and Indonesia, with little to no established Black community there. He knew at least one Black socialist in Hawaii that I know of.

- Until 12, Kamala was raised in a partly-Black neighborhood in Berkeley, where she attended the Black Baptist church and regularly visited the neighborhood Black Community Center. Her mother was surrounded by friends from the Afro American Society at Berkeley who were a presence in Kamala's life. Even after she moved to Canada when she was 12, her best friend there was Black who ended up moving into Kamala's room and they lived together as high school students.

So by Black cultural connections in childhood, Kamala had much more than Obama did.

- Obama visited Kenya once and said his family there were strangers to him.

- Kamala visited Jamaica a number of times with her father and got to know her Jamaican family well.

So by connections to their Black country of origin, Kamala had much more than Obama did.

- Obama attended PWI's Occidental and Columbia for undergrad, mostly kept to himself and dated white girls though he was involved in some student activism in Occidental.

- Kamala attended HBCU Howard in D.C., pledged to a Black sorority, and all of her pictures from that era are with her surrounded by Black folk.

So by formational Black adolescent experience in college, Kamala had much more than Obama did.

- After a year in New York, Obama then went to Chicago and worked as a community activist for three years, then decided to go to Harvard Law and became editor of the Harvard Law Review. After graduation he became a civil rights lawyer as well as a professor at the University of Chicago and started getting into politics, representing the south side of Chicago at first and eventually the entire state of Illinois when he became a Senator, joining the Congressional Black Caucus.

- Kamala went to UC Hastings where she was president of the Black Law Students Association. She then began working as a prosecutor in the Bay Area and was heavily involved with the National Black Prosecutors Association, winning their "Thurgood Marshall Award" in 2005 and headlining as a speaker at their conference in 2010. She then entered politics and became a Senator and member of the Congressional Black Caucus.

So by lived adult experience, Obama began to "find himself" and identify strongly with the Black community for the first time in his life. While Kamala basically had the typical career trajectory of a high-performing Black professional and continued to identify as a Black professional throughout her career.

- Obama dated White and Asian girls throughout his college and post-college time, proposing to one of them when he was 26, though her parents opposed it. He met Michelle when he was 28 and married her when he was 31.

- Kamala dated Black men through her college and prosecutor years, including Willie Brown in her early 30s and Montel Williams in her late 30s. She met Douglas when she was 49 and married him when she was 50.

So by dating experience, they both dated white and black people both, and easily could have ended up married to the opposite race of how it turned out.

This "Kamala isn't Black" thing makes no logical sense. It's literally just a smear by people who would prefer that Democrats not win elections, but realize that talking Dem vs. Rep policy is a bad look for them so they switch to whatever they can throw against the wall.

I love it when you shills attempt to sound smart but end up only putting your foot in your mouth :mjlol:

Believe it or not, black people are smart enough to develop our own conclusions. Not every opinion that differs from shills like you came from the right wing. Thousands of black people who watched the video and all heard the same thing are now right wing low information idiots all because a white journal list said so. :jbhmm:

We can easily debunk this. Go to the video start at 38:00.

38:12 DJ Envy: what does Kamala Harris listen to?

Charlemagne: what were you listening to when you were high? (She admitted she smoked weed only while she was in college) what song was playing?

Kamala: (nervous laugh as she tries to think of famous rappers)

DJ envy: (in response to charlamgane’s question) Yeah was it snoop?

The operative word being “was” as in past tense.

Kamala: (in direct response to envy’s comment) Yes definitely snoop. Tupac for sure.

38:25 DJ envy: what’s your favorite hip hop artist now?

Kamala: you know who I really love? Cardi B

Then they cut out the part where she throws Cardi B in there because that would have made it OBVIOUS that she was talking about what music she listens to in general and wasn't talking about "college".
Um no, as I just showed you they asked her what she listens to AFTER the snoop and Tupac comments. They didn’t edit out anything. You clearly never even watched the videos. You just googled an article that said what you wanted.

The irony of saying we’re parroting right wing talking points when thousands of black people who listened to the article and came to the same conclusion are wrong because some random white journalists said otherwise. Next time, instead of fact checking black people, fact check the white journalist you parrot your information from.

Your ridiculous explanation that Kamala Harris meant she was listening to Tupac and cardi N TODAY is even more ridiculous than the idea that she was listening to Tupac and snoop in 1985. A district attorney and prosecutor that listens to tupac :dead:

Where do they find you goofy nikkas :mjlol:

Kamala Harris was clearly briefed by her campaign to say she listens to Tupac and cardi b in order to appear “down with people” and part of the culture because when this reporter asked her “who is the best rapper alive?” Her knee jerk reaction was to scream “Tupac!” :russ:

The idiot didn’t even watch the video :dead:

He just regurgitated what he heard a white journalist say but then had the audacity to say the thousands of black people who all heard the same thing are too dumb to come to the same conclusion and we’re just parroting right wing talking points.

These shills have no shame in their game :mjlol:
