It's not all Wemby. The Spurs want him shooting and out on the perimeterI want to be clear, because it occured to me that this thread will likely be upped any time Wemby has a bad game.
I am not saying that I think Wemby is a bust.
I just wonder if his apparent willingness to play away from the basket is good for him and good for the Spurs.
How much of this is a conscious decision to develop that part of his game, and how much of this is Wemby being passive or bullied by defenders?
It is true that Wemby having the potential to score from anywhere is the key to his ceiling. So in that sense perhaps we have to accept these growing pains. But I wanted to ask the question anyway.
