Victor Wembanyama is playing away from the basket, and I am concerned.

It’s still funny that most people’s arguments were just simply “someone that tall shouldn’t be shooting as much as he should”. These people wouldn’t even bring up the deeper levels of discussion (him doing it to open up the paint for flashers, him driving off of the jumpshot threat, etc)

I personally think his shot diet is more than fine for a second year player; as they get more connective pieces and guys develop, I’m sure everything will become more efficient. But a stud game like last night obv goes to show you they got a good plan in place for working off his gravity

I remember when ol heads hated on young KG and Dirk for their play styles

Old nikkas will be alright

12-21 from 3 in his last 2 games

FOOLS GOLD AND WILL
ONLY ENCOURAGE HIM TO SHOOT MORE.

HE WASNT A GOOD 3P SHOOTER
IN HIS EUROPEAN LEAGUE
BEFORE HE GOT DRAFTED
AND HE WASNT A GOOD 3P SHOOTER LAST YEAR.

HE NEEDS TO STAND HIS ASS UNDER THE RIM
AND PUT HIS ARMS UP.

Including those games, he's since been shooting 39% from 3 on 10 attempts per game.

bu-bu-but fools gold.

And its the reason why plays like this happen -

The layup against Giannis happened because Brook fell for his pumpfake 3. A whole lot of his driving opportunities have come from defenders biting on his 3, which allows him more space to get into the paint, rather than trying to dribble into traffic.

You'd know this if you knew what you were talking about instead of having this irrational hate for today's game.
