I think fans have to accept that rebounds as a statistic has a very different meaning and different correlation to winning basketball than it did 30 or 40 years ago.

Context around rebounding seems like it can vary a lot.

I would rather have Wemby blocking 4 shots a game and protecting the rim than getting 13 rebounds where maybe 7 of them weren't even contested and didn't matter in terms of the possession or flow of the game.

The current top 3 rebounders this season are Sabonis, Zubac and Allen.

Wemby is currently tied for 10th.
I don't think he needs to lead the league to be impactful.
