Not a huge Ja fan but he had some songs I liked back in the day when he was on his street sh*t! He was mainly for the ladies with the sing song stuff but still had his street hits. This is good for hip hop no matter how you look at it on any level....

This verzus reminded me of how much I hated Ja’s music but he washed and rinsed Joe. If anything Jas music created that fork in the road where mainstream rap would end up eventually with the song songy/ melodic shyt. Watchin them two doods on stage signified the clear separation between the golden era of hip hop and the early new millennium shyt. Only problem was Fat Joe wasn’t the best representative of that 90s era, his catalogue ain’t bad but dood is just mid as an mc.

lmao. 50 music to this day is more relevant than Ja even with all the mega hits, 50 currently has 19 million monthly listeners on Spotify and Ja only has 5 matter of fact the entire Murder inc Catalog including Ashanti(3 million) can’t reach the 9 million mark. 50 literally put them out of business. If you was old enough it wasn’t necessarily the mainstream records but them GUnit- Radio Mixtapes were everywhere. I’d be mad too if I was Irv, he tried to blackball 50 cent and 50 came and took the meal ticket away.

What do you mean aged? Opinion over statistics?

Music aging means music staying relevant. The only way to know how relevant Music still is by how many people are still streaming it years after it was released. Ja Rule Music is not as relevant as 50 music 20 years later and you’re saying Ja Music aged better. Am I missing something? nikka acting like 21 questions/In the Club and a bunch of other 50 cuts aren’t on rotation still.
