Keep looking bruh, check with some Temp agencies but I know its tough up there in the midwest...

Man, I wish I had an Engineering degree. I live 5 mins away from Raytheon and they are always looking for people with an engineering degree and they pay that good money too.

I been trying to work there since I moved to Texas :pachaha:

I've been on this swing so many times, it doesn't even
bother me anymore. The service industry is shyt down
here too. All the hotels in my area are folding and closing.

Been applying to all kinds of jobs and industries.
Also been on one interview and waiting ui benefits
to kick in. It's been five weeks already and no word yet.

To Uncle Sam, it's my money, mothafukka! :beli:

And, I need it now!!

You might need to move to find a job. As some other posters said, look into a temp agency, probably work a non-engineering job and start looking elsewhere.

Its gonna be tough man, but keep your head up

engineering

edit: breh if you an engineer, what is the problem? You should get hired. Move out of Michigan, the entire east and west coast needs engineers.

shyt, the entire country needs it. Are you being lazy?

it sucks.:to:

Ive applied to everything....EVERYTHING

I'm right there with you.

Got a bachelors in Sociology (yea, yea...I know, I know :snoop:). Then got my masters in Criminal Justice. Even after serving nearly 10 years in the military it's hard out here man. I live in Staten Island and I got enough money to last me until about September. I might have to go back into the military even though I've been out since '09.

The only job that I even got an interview for, was a pest exterminator paying at $15 an hour. I interviewed 3 weeks ago and they haven't called me back. I got a gut feeling that they believe I'm over-qualified and wont hire me because they think that as soon as a better job comes along I will jump at the chance, (which I will, of course).

I still got 4 months left on my GI Bill...Maybe I should get into a certification class to improve my resume.

shyt just...sucks
