If Alex was white he would be 100 times bigger and richer lol
If UFC would stop fooling themselves and let Conor go spend the rest of his days sipping his shytty whiskey, Alex is perfect to be the face of the UFC. He may not speak English but he has that aura of a Mike Tyson where the fight can end quickly and violently.

You don't think Alex Peiriera would be one of his most difficult opponents? You're saying The likes of Gustaffson and Dominick Reyes would be tougher?! :dahell:
people really downplaying alex opponents but talking up gus and reyes is hilarious. LHW has always been lackluster outside of jones and DC.

DC has a YouTube channel and he just said that Jiri was so hurt from the punch at the end of the first he waving for Alex to grapple with him when the bell rang which means he went out and woke back up.

Jon was so great that it looked lackluster. Those later guys he beat broke mentally because if they didn’t they would’ve remained contenders. Jan became champ by beating Reyes then beat Izzy making him legit the new lineal champ to me by beating the guy who was the closest to beating Jon and an Undefeated (20-0) Izzy who had cleared out Middleweight. Glover then beat him who Jon had already beat. Glover lost to Jiri then retired. Jiri fukked his shoulder up then relinquished the belt so then Jan and Ankalev fought to a draw then Dana set up Glover vs Hill. Hill won but got hurt hurt so he gave up the belt like Jiri did. So that left two champions who lost their belt without losing. Alex beat Jiri to get the belt then he beat Hill. Once he beat Hill he ended all claims to the belt and cleared out the division. He already beat Jan too and we know Ankalev turned down two of the fights that Alex had recently because his last two fights he was saving UFC cards. So Ankalev is left as a challenger but since he passed on it twice it’s a bad look.

Talk was that Conor v Chandler was gonna be for the new 165 belt. That way they could have a title fight AND potentially crown Conor as the first ever 3 weight world champ.

That could still happen but Conor right now is like how Dame was the last few years on the Blazers. It costs too much to put together. Especially with his contract stating his fights must be top billing. It takes away from the other champions money with PPV points. To get PPV points you need to be a champion plus have defended at least once.

165 would lead to so many fights with guys from 185 to 155 and give them time to be optimal. Someone like Max would be champ even Usman.

Jiri should go to Karate Combat or move to 185

Jiri is 31,Hill is 33,Rakic is 32, Ankalaev is 32 and Ulberg is 33 so arguably Light Heavyweight should be those five guys and who ever comes up for the next three years

I don't think a lot of folks realize what his kickboxing career did to make sure that he ends fights on his terms in MMA.

That's why you can never ever ever dismiss elite striking skills.

Rico Veerhoven would reek havoc on the heavyweight division.

Jiri just fights like please knock me out. Style gets exposed when you have someone who can fight in the pocket. Alex really didn't get taken out of the center of the octagon
It's disappointing to see how unnecessarily reckless dude is, even after getting rocked multiple times. You can't just count on your chi levels to beat someone

The thing about Rico is he's not a crusher, he wears people down with volume and precision. He tends to out kickbox his opponents and he has been hurt quite a few times but rallied back to win on skill and fitness. In MMA if he got hurt like that, one take down, ground and pound or submission and it's over.
