"hopefully"

I'mma keep it a bean. I watch boxing for purity, skill, prestige alla that shyt.

UFC I just want to see nikkas bleed. It is a consistently unserious production from the matchmaking to the litany of terrible cards :yeshrug: The fact people put money in Dana pockets to watch some fo these ppv its baffling

Some of the decision fighters are fun tho, like Merab.
I'll bet that everyone of us watched it for Free

Man I hope so. I'd rather stub my big toe than put money in dana white pocket

The problem is he's conditioned so many fans out there that if you fight in a Floyd Mayweather, Pernell Whitaker style it's bad for the sport.

There's no appreciation for technical prowess and winning with the least amount of damage possible.

Him and a lot of his idiot fans simply want gladiator taking place with a guy who can't even speak at the end of his career.

Boxing fans appreciate more the likes of Andre Ward, Floyd, Whitaker, Terence Crawford.

MMA fans and their owner don't. They would never like a Bivol as their champ.

I don't mind point fighters. I just think it should be a give and take. like if you getting every shoot stuff and then basically just controlling duke and not doing any real damage that shouldn't be an automatic round. It pisses me off every time I see it. Like breh its like someone throwing 87 jabs, they all miss and you give bro the round because the other dude defended them well.

I don't want to get into a discipline pissing contest but boxing is just simply much harder to be world class at and as such if you a student of the game you can appreciate all diff types of boxers cuz every style is hard to win with at that level. MMA is hard too ofc but its dudes who start training at 19 or some shyt and make it to the UFC. You will literally never see that in any weight class below heavyweight.

I don't think there will ever be a floyd in MMA because its simply too many ways to lose. Jon Jones comes closest though.

The crowd booing was just... how dare a man use all of his skillset :pachaha:
He kept the fight on the feet for 3 rounds and Alex only had calf kicks for him. He only started grappling because his leg was almost dead.
Smart fight by Ankalaev.
Only fight i managed to see. What did Justin do in his fight?

I love both sports I like boxing more but I love love martial arts and MMA.

I take Karate, Muay Thai and BJJ.

I think boxing fans are more conditioned to appreciate a guy winning a strictly off the skills and least amount of damage.

MMA fans aren't.

Fight of the night, worth the watch. Gaetjhe got it 2-1 in terms of rounds. Fight was straight action from start to finish. :wow:

just read an article where magomed said he ''pleaded'' with UFC to move the title fight out of the month of ramadan.

i can already hear dana on that call saying ''tell that ungrateful shythead it's now or never!''

by contrast, there were rumors alex was ''going out'', and we know he threw invaluable prep time away by flying out to the middle of nowhere to help the likes of sean strickland in his own disaster of a title fight.

UFC tried clipping magomed's wings and now look, big boring russian gets the last laugh.

That's not the full problem any fighter who has the skills to fight like Floyd or pernell to actually box, avoid taking big hits. And counter punch and avoid damage and be technical and out point a fighter standing up boxing wldnt be in ufc making little money they wld go in boxing for bigger money.

So the only time you see in ufc a fighter with high fight iq who can do the mma version of Floyd and technical fighting and avoid damage big hits wld be the mma version a grappler who is condition to cutting weight so is fighting a weight class lower so is bigger than comp. Can dominate fighters in ground and just ground npound take no damage smother but like Floyd never tko a guy who rarely KO or submit the guy. A la jon Fitch, some gsp fights like Dan hardy etc he jus controlled and ground n pounded. You mentioned mersb same thing can take down and out cardio but cnt finish.

And watching a fighter just take down and lay on top but nt advance to full mount nt tap out a guy. Punch enuff to not get stood up can be boring to watch.

While in boxing vs floyd or ne1 as long as standing and trading the all it takes is 1 punch hope and pray is always there do keeps fans watching and hoping. While Jon Fitch is ground fukkin you there is no 1 punch chance to look for.

This is why many fans like Islam more than khabin to watch as Islam goes for finished in feet and ground more often and earlier while khabib wld wait to drain opponents fill and gas for 2 or 3 rounds first then get da mercy submit.
