How am I being hostile? You said Floyd is doing under a mill(barely) in 2/3 like its some sort of slight. He doing a under a mill vs Zack Ryder and UFC can't even come close with Hogan vs Andre The Giant.

Slight? My point in all of this was to say that getting a million buys is no joke. I gave the example of Floyd because he's the 1 PPV draw in the world, no slight against him.

This isn't the first time you've :cape: for Floyd.

Where did you get this info from, I just pulled up his numbers
you realized his fight with canelo broke records right

the numbers from maidana having been posted, and those will be under a mill because nobody thought fight would be like it was

http://www.badlefthook.com/2013/5/1...s-guerrero-pay-per-view-numbers-still-doubted

Absolutely yes. I am not going to get into a pissing contest with Showtime but I have good industry sources who swear on their children that this fight will not reach 1 million buys, much less be "in excess" of 1 million and I believe them. These are people with no dog in the fight who I respect and have known for many years and trust. I am told that the number right now is about 870,000 buys. It would take some major anomaly for it to gain another 110,000 plus to go over 1 million. People can believe it or not. I dont really care. If it does 870 or 1M it's not like I make an extra dime. So that's where I stand.

Floyd is still a huge draw (#1 in PPV across all sports/entertainment), no denying that.

Everytime someone says something you don't like to here you gotta act like somebody's trolling

the UFC needs new draws, Silva is shot, he wanted to retire he didn't even want to fight weidman the second time, now dana white has a 40 year old fighter sign a ten fight deal
no way he completes that contract

If Weidman can't be a draw, the UFC is finished he beat Silva twice he should be huge, like how Rashard sky rocketed when he knocked out chuck

GSP is gone, he makes enough money from his endorsements

dana white has backed this company up against the wall, instead of just admitting shyt got too big to chew and scaled back

UFC is dying, it will take a superstar to give them life again

i know rory aint that dude, we'll see about weidman

That article as over a year old, as it stands today the official numbers are 1 mill

plus you said last 3 fights

bottom line is GSP was good 700-900 buys

shyt Rashard Evans and Rampage did 1 mill buy

jones and rashard only did half of that shows you the decline in interest right there

which is why they wanted to rematch with Gus so bad because they need a big number fight, just like Sonen and Silva did 600,000 off the strength of silva
they did 1 mil the second match, because of the hype

lesnar was bringing in 1 mil every ppv

I'm not making this up, the UFC needs a new star, silva is done, gsp is done, jon jones has been average as a draw, rashad over the course of their careers as been a bigger draw
that shows you the decline in interest in UFC, because Jones is way more visible than rashard who barely had the belt

Weidman should be a star now, we will find out soon, if he's not, it's not his fault, its just the sign of the UFC brand diminishing

but the put on ronda on the card too damn like a co main event like they did with silva weidman II, so they banking on this one to do that 1 milly

The article is refuting the #'s put out by Showtime.

I've been saying that the UFC (right now) is lacking stars.

The article came out over a year ago before the numbers were confirmed

we know the numbers now its 2014

the UFC is lacking stars, and what does Dana white do, he throws his p4p champ under the bus in public everytime instead of handing business like a professional. First with sonnen then with the rematch with gus. Guy is immature and mosly to blame for the UFC's rapid decline

And a major fight like Cotto/Martinez hit a disappointing 350k buys. PPV buys are down across the board.
