The article posted says they only went to the Yakuza because they couldn't get any loans from investors, because the ship was already sinking

tel me what did the Yakuza do?

Why didn't Dream succeed then, was that the Yakuza's fault too

Yakuza only prevented pride from being put back on Japanese TV after Zuffa brought them, because they don't want Dana white over there

this well after pride was a wrap

I put out like this, if Weidman Machida doesnt do 1 million buys, with Ronda on the card too they are in serious trouble

Involvement with the Yakuza caused Pride to lose their TV deal, which was a huge blow to their revenue. Extortion and corruption (ex. fixed fights) were also reasons why Pride went out of business.

Dream didn't succeed because they had no stars (all the Pride stars went to the UFC) and with the fall of Pride, interest in MMA [in Japan] decreased considerably.

That was a dumb statement. Like you said, Floyd can't pull 1 million+ buys on a consistent basis, but he wants Machida/Weidman/Rousey to pull a mill?:mjlol:

once again your just rehashing old ass articles, all those allegations don't add up to the mismanagement and funds, and false reports on attendance

also its not the reason for decline of MMA in japan, MMA was a fad in japan and the fad was over, its just that simple

Most of the so called pride stars did squat in the UFC because they juice out of their minds like in pride and were past their primes

The decline in pride was already set in before 2006, the peak was in 2002

Floyd is his company, he's not the governing body of boxing, each boxing promotion is on it's own separate island is not the same

Floyd is not putting up money for all the other boxing events that bomb, he justs responsible for himself

UFC is like a record label, taking a lost all his other artist, but recouping with the success of those big stars, if those big stars don't come through, its gonna be trouble

Floyd is a one man promotion, not a company holding up an entire sport

UFC events due poorly they have to really on he big star events to make up for that

He doesn't take loses when other boxers fail to draw lol dumb ass

Plus you have two of the biggest stars on one CARD

If Mayweather and Pacquiao fought on the same card, not even against each they would break all records

I have sources to back up my argument, you have nothing.

Pride stars did squat? Shogun became UFC champ, Hendo was a #1 contender and fought for the UFC belt twice (would've been 3x if he didn't get injured against Jones), Rampage was UFC champ.

What are you saying? Is English your first language?

2 of Floyd's last 3 fights have pulled less than a mill.

Why so hostile?

And when did I say UFC stars are bigger than Floyd? Your post is irrelevant.

How am I being hostile? You said Floyd is doing under a mill(barely) in 2/3 like its some sort of slight. He doing a under a mill vs Zack Ryder and UFC can't even come close with Hogan vs Andre The Giant.

Where did you get this info from, I just pulled up his numbers
you realized his fight with canelo broke records right

the numbers from maidana having been posted, and those will be under a mill because nobody thought fight would be like it was

Everytime someone says something you don't like to here you gotta act like somebody's trolling

the UFC needs new draws, Silva is shot, he wanted to retire he didn't even want to fight weidman the second time, now dana white has a 40 year old fighter sign a ten fight deal
no way he completes that contract

If Weidman can't be a draw, the UFC is finished he beat Silva twice he should be huge, like how Rashard sky rocketed when he knocked out chuck

GSP is gone, he makes enough money from his endorsements

dana white has backed this company up against the wall, instead of just admitting shyt got too big to chew and scaled back

UFC is dying, it will take a superstar to give them life again
