Easy way around this. DEI doesn't affect hiring, its an employee education program that is apart of the company values and mandatory training. DOJ Gonna make Chic Fila A open on Sunday's? Equal protection right? the snap back once he is gone is gonna be crazy.

Lets do some math

There are 33 million businesses in America

98% of them have less than 100 employees.
So let's say 2% have more.

That's 660,000 businesses. Now 80% of them have DEI programs now.

So 528,000 businesses have them (let's be charitable)

So Trump wants the DOJ to investigate half a million businesses.

Oh and by the way, "DOGE" exists to stop wasteful spending and inefficient use of Gov resources :skip:

Sad

Even if this can be defeated in court, the average business ain’t going invest millions fighting the fines and paying lawyers
They could sue and get billions this seems discriminatory in the sense that if say McDonald’s decided it was in it’s interest to have a DEI program and the govrnenment impedes on it’s marketing strategies then which might lead to a boycott of Black people then they’d lose money and it would make the government liable for that.

If I could make this argument imagine what a competent lawyer could come up with.

I believe the result would be hitting them with heavy fines.
For example, the Slacker Family and their company were ordered to pay billions as a result of the criminal lawsuit brought to them on the opioid crisis:
The ripple effect would be other companies falling in line to not open themselves up to such fines.

But laugh away while this all unfolds in front of your very eyes.
That case had concrete examples of pushing opioids for profit.

The government would have to define DEI to prosecute someone.

This is just a scare tactic.

Real talk, Hispanics are usually fukking a$$holes when doing customer service and you usually have your check them to get them to do their job. They’ve been super nice around my way lately, full spoons of chicken at Chipotle and all that.

I remember the Arab doctors and residents at the hospital were nice af right after 9/11.

Mufukus never even bothered to speak beforehand lol.

They had other options. They could have chosen another republican candidate but this is what they chose.

This DEI shyt been really pissing me off the last few weeks cause Trump and his crew have now painted it as every black person in a job is there purely because they're black and not because they're perfectly qualified. They've been talking like airlines for example will just hire a dude to be pilot because he's black. Motherfukker you still gotta have the necessary qualifications first and foremost.

Some of the most blatant racist shyt you'll see from a president in this day and age and it's only gonna get worse.

This is an expected, but interesting way to play it. I really thought they were just going to either take the 1964 CRA to SCOTUS to gut it like the Voting Rights Act or stop enforcing the CRA entirely.

If the CRA is gone, it would be a disaster but DEI would not be any more or less illegal than outright discrimination.

It seems they want their cake and eat it too---give a green light to anti-Black discrimination and also punish those who try to remedy it on private terms.

I have never been naive about our society and race but given this is the third time they are rolling back our equal rights I think most Black folks are not going to be as Panglossian about the this society going forward--even if MAGA falls and the Dems get back in office. Not that there aren't many millions of good non-Black people. It's just that the more stubborn integration-as-triumph types need to realize there is a ceiling that will never change nor be wished away :yeshrug:
I think this will do them in

They're not just attacking Black ppl with DEI

Something needs to be done in the short term quick because by the way they moving they not planning on having future fair elections
