Lets do some math

There are 33 million businesses in America

98% of them have less than 100 employees.
So let's say 2% have more.

That's 660,000 businesses. Now 80% of them have DEI programs now.

So 528,000 businesses have them (let's be charitable)

So Trump wants the DOJ to investigate half a million businesses.

Oh and by the way, "DOGE" exists to stop wasteful spending and inefficient use of Gov resources :skip:

The point is to create a specter, causing a chilling effect that forces companies to abandon *anything* that could be twisted to fit the "DEI" mold out of fear of retaliation and costly investigations. This is broad enough to affect Black advancement in any corporate environment, since it can easily be framed as DEI by bad actors.

That case had concrete examples of pushing opioids for profit.

The government would have to define DEI to prosecute someone.

This is just a scare tactic.

Dude laughed at the notion of the DOJ throwing the CEO in jail. I just clarified, that they’d hit them with fines, and posted an example of them doing just that.

Of course they’d have to prove their case; Trump’s directing them to investigate to build that case. Trump’s SCOTUS has already established legal precedence with the Harvard case. I’m truly dumbfounded how y’all can act as if this is some insurmountable task. Yes it’s a scare tactic. Whether they get a win or not, and whether any win would hold up to appeals or not, most companies ain’t tryna deal with that shyt and will fall in line.

Harvard and any other school receives federal money. So the case against them is about Title 9 or Equal protections cause the government is funding them partially.

A private business isn’t the same thing. You have to prove they are breaking federal law and how. Like I said this is closer to the opioids case where business records, emails, and such proved they knew what they were dog was illegal.

Yeah. Most businesses won’t want to fight but they also know Trump isn’t going to be there forever.

Nobody has even brought a discrimination case against them so it’s even more flimsy.

It will have a chilling effect on hiring managers too and might make them hesitant to hire a Black person or a woman for a job when a white man, even one less qualified, is also up for it.

This DEI shyt been really pissing me off the last few weeks cause Trump and his crew have now painted it as every black person in a job is there purely because they're black and not because they're perfectly qualified. They've been talking like airlines for example will just hire a dude to be pilot because he's black. Motherfukker you still gotta have the necessary qualifications first and foremost.

Some of the most blatant racist shyt you'll see from a president in this day and age and it's only gonna get worse.
And what’s ironic is that 90% of the cacs Trump and Elon put in positions are unqualified. How is RFK jr qualified to be the HHS?
How is Elon qualified to know what gov programs/positions are essential?
How are the 20 year olds on DOGE qualified to deal with gov data?

I take your point but all it takes is one white person to say they didn't get a job to push the case forward. Hell, in that case where they ruled that a website designer could refuse to make a wedding site for a gay marriage a year or so ago, it wasn't even a real person that requested the website and the Supreme Court still went their way.

DEI was yet another way white women got over.
Same way the majority of federal minority contracts went to small businesses that used a white woman as the ceo.

The majority of DEI employment benefitted white women.

Crackas the ultimate scammers.

Trump does realize DEIZ hurts whites more than blacks right?

Anyway Verizon on the clock
That's not how white supremacy works.

Success is measured in how much non-whites suffer, not whites. The assumption is if whites are in a position to dominate the other groups, they're already winning.

Man, funny part is you see this everywhere.

Has anybody ever thought about how quick, efficient and good a job these Mexican gardeners and landscapers do? They go house to house, mansion to mansion and get a whole neighborhood’s gardens looking right in a single day’s work.

A White team doing the same thing is out there getting 11v11 going when they see a football in someone’s yard and spending 3/4 the time bullshyttin.

Mexicans doing yard and house work is like the NBA to Black people. Brehito don't even be knowing what you saying but will smile and get it done.

I think they are well aware of this, but they do it to rub it in the face of non-whites.

non-whites = DEIs, full investigation required
whites = no background checks necessary, if they look the part give them the job

It's nasty work out here.

Putting aside Conservatives have a desire to go after gays, the fact DEI has no definition is the biggest problem. Outreach programs have all kinds of qualifications like veterans or ex-prisoners.

If they define it as hiring a minority or disabled person, you have to prove you didn’t hire a white person with the same qualifications.

It’s a Pandora’s box.
