Yeah but they played in tougher conferences under what we now know to be with a worse HC.
Yeah but they still had opportunities. Dallas choked in 07, overwhelming NFC favorite in 08, yet they missed the playoffs. San Diego had no business losing to NE in 2006. In 2009, massive choke job at home to the Jets.

Yeah they were elite through 10 or so games then collapsed.

It would be like baker Stan’s bragging about beating the collapsing 2023 eagles
I was just answering your question. So the 03 Packers would be the best team he beat in the playoffs. Who is the best team Lamar beat in the playoffs? What about Warren Moon? Whats the besr team Luck beat? A collapsing Denver team with Manning dereriorating at a rapid pace?

Well they always talk about QBs not facing wach other. McNabb did defeat an elite defense in the playoffs, in three straight years!!

Also, some QBs just arent capable of winning games that they arent supposed to win. Dak and Romo are amongst them. Rivers,.too. You never felt like he could go in New England or Pittsburgh, and actually win.

This is what the real list should be to me:

1. Brady
2. Mahomes
3. Manning
4. Rodgers
5. Brees
6. Lamar
7. Allen
8. Favre
9. Warner
10. Ben
11. Russ
12. Stafford
13. Burrow
14. Rivers
15. Luck

Eli, Cam, and Matt Ryan don't even make the cut, though they'd make my "Top 25 of the last 25 years" list, though....but those 3 are not Top 15 since 2000, not at all.

16. Matty Ice
17. Eli
18. Goff
19. Palmer
20. Romo
21. Cam
22. Hurts
23. Herbert
24. McNabb
I could probably nitpick things but this is about right. You probably did Cam a tad bit dirty lol.

I still have my own unique problem with Pat over Peyton lol but I know I'm by myself.

Romo is better than Stafford, Russ, Rivers , Eli, Ryan and Luck

Im with you. Manning was otherworldly dominant. He played the QB position at a higher level than Mahomes, does. He also faced way better competition.

Warren Moon never even made a conference title game!! Marino made 3, his entire career! Luck made one in his 7 year career. It’s not as easy as it seems. Dan Fouts, I believe, only made one. Cunningham was the ultimate weapon, backed with a loaded defens, and couldnt make one in Philly. Just one time as an old man in Minnesota. McNair, the ultimare warrior at QB, only made two conference championship games for his career.
And… I knock those people for that

Randall is interesting because he never had a great coach but he was also playing in a loaded NFC East. Mcnabb didn’t have to deal with that

What “elite” defenses?

Mcnabb also never beat a great team. This is why putting 5 nfc title games in context is so important

The 2004 eagles beat an 8-8 team to get the nfc title game lol.

Mcnabb wasn’t winning those games they lost either unless you think beating the 2008 Giants is the same as beating the 2007 patriots on the road

Yeah there is nothing special about the 10-6 Packers. I would put them in line with the best teams that other QBs have beaten.
