You don't need a car if u live in a major city, dumb investment

Cars are only necessary if ur a soccer mom taking several kids to and from school and to the doctor daily, or a young dumb nikkas tryna stunt for easily impressionable hoes.

If ur none of the two u don't need a car

nikkas ain't trying to haul groceries on a fukking bus or Uber.

Why can't u get a job with your degree?

I thought pharmacy techs only make $12-$14 an hour.

I thought getting your masters puts loans on hold.

it's not sustainable at this rate, but I'm not really worried about earning more bread. I just gotta get a better job, only reason I'm still at my current job is because they pay for the PTCB, the certified pharmacy tech exam.

I gotta study up for that jawn cuz tbh I be bullshyttin at my job. I know a fair amount but I need to get this cert then dip. As soon as I land a hospital/corporate job I'll be way less stressed about surviving.

A nikka got debt out the ass but I have faith I can land a 30k+ job soon, and later down the line 50k+ depending which direction I take. I have a bachelors in science, an EMT cert and soon a cPT cert. I got faith in myself it's just all the bullshyt that distracts me from it :francis:

Unless it is a company car/tax expense and you have secure parking but public transport is adds much more convenience. But financing a car in a major city is overrated. And the stunting mentality is toxic and hence in why you will see men who were living lavish and eating good in 90s and early 2000. But in 2018 they are now :flabbynsick: and living in first world poverty. And the cycle continues.

The young dudes who live with their parents and earn a comfortable salary can push the foreign and the v8s.

It's not about living in the city. If anything, he can look for a job outside of the city if he has a car. The car allows him to have more life options. He might find a job that makes more money outside the city and a cheaper apartment. With a car, he doesn't have to stay in Philly.

:mjcry: People are saying accept it, what kind of life is that suppose to be. I would feel discouraged if I was living week by week, not knowing how ends would be made. Not having to worry about that is the biggest luxury of life, never take that for granted.

If you are in OP situation you just need to put your head down for a few years, work crazy hours, knock down that debt and make sure to never allow it to happen again. And you need to start looking for higher paying work, what you are getting paid is unacceptable for your student loan amount.

You live solely off what you need, no car payments, no credit cards bills, no outside food. You want entertainment take your ass online for free. You want to deal with woman be honest and only conduct fwb. You need to find other source of income too, whether that is part time job, something like uber/lyft or my most recommended - a skill or something you can learn in providing a quick service to people for a good fee. 70K looks bad now but if you can get your life down to a bare minimum, find a cheap roommate. Start applying to higher paying jobs, you shouldn't be afraid to fail and go to many interviews to land something much better. Spend your free time learning software used in that particular field you are interested in, it's the best way to enter any job field. Once you have more money, save some for emergency - throw the rest at the debt has fast as possible.

What are these higher paying jobs people speak of?

Honest question because from what I have seen they want 5+years experience with a degree, or they want certs, etc.

And these are decent jobs, not jobs where you would expect to be paid high because of a degree, they want that for some regular paying jobz.

I'm just curious on what would be a higher paying job you could get without a degree or certs.

You fukking tripping

I never said don't work for more. But why stress myself out. When the situation isn't going to change over night. Wealth is calcified in America. It's going to get worse for the majority of Americans. I am not going to spend my days stressed out especially if I have my basic needs met.

We covet and chase after the lifestyle of white people, ignoring the depressing reality that we are the descendants of slaves who were never compensated for their labor, men and women who could not leave us anything of monetary value to inherit. Most black people were born poor and will die poor, because we are in a system designed to ensure that outcome. OP, you are not special, being just another among millions of black victims who came before you, currently live under similar circumstances, and will experience the same misery long after we are dead. We are trapped, and the only way to escape is to rebel. :francis:
You still acting black and doing poor porn :gucci:

Pros:

You have your health.
You have no children.
You have a degree

Your situation could be much more worse. Believe me.

Cons:

You have a car. Now unless you live in some deserted middle of no where swamp, you do not need a car.

When I was struggling, I had no need for a car. Sure it would’ve been more comfortable but that’s how you go broke: insurance, gas, parking tickets, road tax, maintaining.

Unless your job requires a car GET RID OF IT NOW. You’ve got two working legs, the most cost effective mode of transport.

Start budgeting. After your household expenses are paid for, food is where you should be able to cut down on effectively. Cooking for yourself and eating left overs will save you a lot.

I hope this helps.
