One of the best threads in a while :ehh:

-Trick Daddy dad being a snitch

-Soulja Boy stealing Crank Dat from some Atlanta nikkas & stealing all of his swag & having his songs written by his SODMG nikkas, then cutting them off/beefing with all of them

-Wale debut album in 09

-Game claiming to be Eazy-E's son when he first came out, then beefing with Lil Eazy E after he called him out

-Trina was born in 1974, not 1979. Also lying about being Dominican

-Roscoe Dash being blackballed

-50 Cent got shot 3 times, not 9 times (He still repeats the lie)

-Game, Brandy, Sean Kingston, Gucci Mane & Akon all being managed by Jimmy Henchman

-Suge Knight trying to get back into the music industry in 2013/14 & everyone blackballing him

-Slick Rick trying to kill Big Daddy Kane on a tour bus

-Birdman & Lil Wayne being tied up & robbed by some Haitian nikkas in Miami in 05/06 and being forced to pay dues and show love

-Cash Money & Death Row were supposed to drop a duet album produced entirely by Mannie Fresh summer 2000

-Blueface and Tyga getting exposed by trannies
I think Sheek Louch was managed by Henchman too

T.I. being a writer and ghostwriter. He wrote songs for Bow Wow and Dr. Dre. He wrote the hook on Mystikal's "Come See About Me". He's allegedly written for other artists among which are Lil Kim.

T.I. started calling himself "King of the South" because Mystikal was calling himself "Black Prince of the South". T.I. was like "why isn't dude calling himself king and ran with the title himself". Nobody talks about that though. T.I. once threw shots at Mystikal in The Source because he didn't get paid for writing the hook on "Come See About Me". He and Mystikal squashed whatever problems existed as T.I. remade "Here I Go" in 2013 and Mystikal was featured.

:scust: HOOK WAS TRASH
I WOULDNT HAVE PAID FOR THAT SIMPLISTIC shyt EITHER.

Sorry y’all I keep thinking of more lol:

Snoop Lion

Pimpin Curly

Hashtag rap/Big Sean flow

Snap music/ringtone rap

“Eminem murdered you on your own shyt” - on the other hand, it was an already completed song with Em and Royce given to Jay. Maybe that’s more impressive idk.

Kanye’s album “So Help Me God” that ended up being Life of Pablo

Mase being on G-Unit

Despite being Games album being called “Doctors Advocate” it had no Dr. Dre produced tracks or involvement.

2Pac coined “G-Funk” and “Mind on my money and my money on my mind” first.
Isnt a Doctors Advocate just a nurse? :gucci:

Jay Z- Blueprint 3 had a Best Buy deluxe edition that came with a DVD. Basically a BTS 20 minute doc of him on private jets talking ab the album & playing high stakes poker with Ye’s Louis Vuitton sneakers on. Been looking for it on the internets for years & cant find it

“Picture Me Rollin” starting out as a Johnny J solo joint. And yes, that’s Y?N-Vee in the thumbnail.

-Saafir being a member of Digital Underground

-Mahershala Ali being a member of Heiroglyphics as “Prince Ali”

-Chubb Rock having sum girl in his crew named “Rockin Robin” in like ‘89, who turned out to be one of the nicest MCs on the Death Row roster(Rage)

Picture Me Rollin and Death Around The Corner are damn near the same beat lmao

Before Eminem, Aftermath records' flagship artist was King Tee. His album Thy Kingdom Come was shelved after it got 3.5 mics in The Source and luke warm reception to his first single.

Speaking of Aftermath, Dre completely distancing himself from gangsta rap in 96/97 before reverting to it on 2001.

Nothing on No Fury had the type of impact as a single as Grinding. And maybe not even the same Cot Damn. And even What Happened To That Boy felt like a bigger Clipse song than anything on No Fury, and it wasn't even a Clipse song.

But as an album you think it's better than Lord Willin, right? If you don;t, then I don't think it's that crazy of a take, but I've always thought Lord Willin had the bigger hits, but No Fury was the more cohesive album. And on No Fury their voices sounded more distinct, as Push came into his own on there. I thought Malice really stood out as the better emcee on Lord Willin, but Push stepped up big time on No Fury.

BTW Push used Biggie's exact flow on this joint and nobody ever talked about it or realized it.

When I listen to this I can def see the influence in Tyler the Creator production

Dre having a new "protege" after the Game/G-Unit falling out that was supposed to be all over Detox

Always had these kinds of proteges, I remember Knockturnal, brehs already mentionned Bishop Lamont, then on Compton it was Anderson. Paak who was all over the album, which I think is also kind of forgotten. I seem to remember some obscure rapper who was being talked about in relation to Dre at some point around 2015-2016, but can't remember anything more.

Atlanta
First time a lot of us saw Waka Flocka was in a Worldstar video of a huge brawl in a Atlanta club.
And at then end of the same clip they had 2 random unknown New York rappers filming some kind of Smack DVD freestyle throwing shots at 50 until Waka and his folks basically chased them off the screen like “fukk what they talking about” and started throwing up their hood in front of the camera :mjlol:
