“Picture Me Rollin” starting out as a Johnny J solo joint. And yes, that’s Y?N-Vee in the thumbnail.

-Saafir being a member of Digital Underground

-Mahershala Ali being a member of Heiroglyphics as “Prince Ali”

-Chubb Rock having sum girl in his crew named “Rockin Robin” in like ‘89, who turned out to be one of the nicest MCs on the Death Row roster(Rage)

Eminem's Black girlfriend. When Benzino leaked the tapes, the defense was that they were made because Eminem was upset that his girlfriend dumped him. It was said he was dating a Black girl at the time. Nothing else was ever mentioned about her and no digging was done to corroborate the story.
It was obviously bullshyt. But em having too much power and benzino being benzino shyt didn't have the legs it should have had.

Rick Ross's career before "Hustlin" took off. A lot of people knew he was on Slil N Slide, but didn't know about his Suave House days. The irony of it is all is that his former Suave House label mate, Eightball, was getting compared to Biggie before anyone even knew who Ross was. It all came full circle when Rick Ross dropped the "9 Piece" remix with Eightball & MJG.

Bangladesh coming in the game as Luda's producer. He went by Shondrae then, but a lot of people don't know he was responsible for early Luda songs like "What's Your Fantasy". Most didn't catch on to Bangladesh until he adopted the producer tag and started going by Bangladesh. Then came "A Milli" and he pretty much became the poster child for producers CMR weren't paying for production. He was also a part of Brick Squad.

“Shondreezy on da BEAT!!”

Bangladesh has always been dope.

Mase's "Lookin At Me" being an introduction to The Neptunes. Most consider "Superthug" by N.O.R.E to be the introduction of the Neptunes, at least in the Hip Hop sense despite "Lookin At Me" being a bigger song.

Speaking of The Neptunes, their first credit as The Neptunes was on Total's debut in January 1996. Many don't know this.

Pharrell wasn't always a solo producer, yet since 2013, Pharrell is referenced for everything Neptunes and rarely is The Neptunes as a whole mentioned. It is almost always Pharrell.

i know the neptunes from SWV use your heart .. i loved that song

One of the best threads in a while :ehh:

-Trick Daddy dad being a snitch

-Soulja Boy stealing Crank Dat from some Atlanta nikkas & stealing all of his swag & having his songs written by his SODMG nikkas, then cutting them off/beefing with all of them

-Wale debut album in 09

-Game claiming to be Eazy-E's son when he first came out, then beefing with Lil Eazy E after he called him out

-Trina was born in 1974, not 1979. Also lying about being Dominican

-Roscoe Dash being blackballed

-50 Cent got shot 3 times, not 9 times (He still repeats the lie)

-Game, Brandy, Sean Kingston, Gucci Mane & Akon all being managed by Jimmy Henchman

-Suge Knight trying to get back into the music industry in 2013/14 & everyone blackballing him

-Slick Rick trying to kill Big Daddy Kane on a tour bus

-Birdman & Lil Wayne being tied up & robbed by some Haitian nikkas in Miami in 05/06 and being forced to pay dues and show love

-Cash Money & Death Row were supposed to drop a duet album produced entirely by Mannie Fresh summer 2000

-Blueface and Tyga getting exposed by trannies
