My point is that kendrick is blatantly himself trying to align his name with pac's

This comment in particular bothered me :
"Theres nothing about Kendrick that says he has aims of following the blueprint of whats made past west coast artist pop in the mainstream, yet people slight him because he doesn't match them :pachaha:"

You're talking as if people are walking around in a delusional state thinking kdot's gonna be like pac and being let down cause he's not. But that's not the case. The real story is that kdot out here false flagging wit pac's name, knowing he's nothing like that. I dont think me or others expect him to be like pac,we're just peeping his fraudulent nature and blasting him for it.
You also said: "When you listen to Kendrick in the proper persepective he's a dope artist to me"
What is this supposed to mean? If him and his team are tryin to pretend he's the second coming of pac, then people have every right to look at him like "oh that's what you are?, then prove it lil nikka"
"if you a mouse then be a mouse but if your album comes out and you're a don........"
And nobody's asking you to be mad,but when you come out talking like me and/or people that feel similar to me,are tripping,NAW YOU TRIPPING.

Kendrick is being judged and listened to in the proper context given what he and his team has done and continue to do.

Do you not believe Kendrick is really a Pac fan or something?I think the dude has been nothing but a fan,who has name dropped Pac. And once you show you are a fan of Pac you will continue to be asked about Pac,ive seen many of his interviews talking about Pac and its not like he's just bringing Pacs name up everywhere out the blue, dude really is a fan, like Lil Boosie is a big fan. Only difference is Boosie has followed Pacs blueprint and stayed in the same lane:banderas:...Yall don't think Kendrick should be allowed to namedrop Pac because he doesn't make the same kindve music, and has not stayed in the same lane:childplease:? So what do you mean he's nothing like Pac?inspiration is not imitation....If your talking about who Kendrick is outside of music, its the same thing....my only problem with Kendrick would be if he's a phony all together and doesn't care about the community, sincerity is all I ask for.

I held him accountable when he called himself the new Makaveli on Control only to not respond to disses later on,but god damn yall not over that yet:mjlol:? Jcole has namedropped Nas and done entire songs to letting him down:snoop:,Drake has compared himself to Jay-z.....And most importantly the media has also tried to force these comparisons, whether it be the machines behind them or just media being the media. Also ignorant stans who like to compare everything, have also compared these new artist with goat artist of old.

Am I supposed to be mad at all these nikkas because they have failed to come even close to living up to the standards they themselves have bought by comparing themselves?along with fans and media pushing those narratives and comparisons:comeon:?

Stop acting like you never seen this before and it aint still happening?I don't blame these artist for being fans and talking about dudes they idolized and doing songs with them. Blame they machines, stupid fans and blogs for running with it,and yourself for not being able to use your ears and say "Nah you not them:wtb:",and still be able to listen to his music with a unbias ear.

Improper perspective to listen to Kendrick would be,listening for him to sound like the prototype west coast gangsta rapper even though he uses many of the same themes he's not that....listening for him to be as dope as Snoop because he's a Dr Dre artist,or listening for him to sound like Pac.

Kendrick is almost as much of poet as he is a rapper, where as most rappers are more rapper than they are poet....He's more like a spoken word poet who raps, when I listen to him in that context I think he's dope.

Please don't get this wrong,I do listen for him to be great because of the hype he receives and accolades he's gotten, proclamations he's made....I don't think he's as great as publicized either,I give him the overated tag and its fair to challenge that idea....and its really the only important thing to challenge because history can be rewritten behind it....Many artist have been compared to Pac,yet and still theres only one Pac,so why yall so worried about Kendrick:pachaha:?That shyt simply wont stick and people will move on to calling somebody else the closest thing to Pac.

I haven't seen anything outrageous yet on Kendricks part far as false flagging with Pacs name, when I do I will call him out:sas1:Sounds more like yall nikkas actually bought into the media hype, and comparisons and got your feelings hurt,Kendrick let yall down:mjcry:

I NEVER bought in,so I'm good as you can tell:youngsabo:...You want him to prove it because he said it,the machine said it, fans said it...Me on the other hand I make nikkas prove it before I'll even consider it:sas1:

Outside of making music with substance which many before and after Pac did,Kendrick has done nothing to make me look at him in that light,or take seriously anything the machine or these fans tried to say.

I believe kendrick is a fan, yes. But nikka please on this other shyt, this nikka said he was gonna name his album to pimp a caterpillar and also that pac came to him in a dream. Meanwhile he's being quiet in interviews when took to task on his lyrics, simply for politics. I dont expect him to be pac,but damn atleast be a man. Alot of people whom were influenced by pac, were different and also not as good as him but atleast they acted as men. He's not p*ssy

nikka he is a phony. If he's really doing this music to make a point and not just for money, you dont get in interviews and bow down. Not unless you bout to go on trial, but you dont get silent about YOUR lyrics if your point is really to touch the people. *you smarter than this bro* No disrespect, you are

J cole is nothing like nas and rather he has said something or not (i believe he has)
For the record i thought "let nas down" was a corny bytch boy idea and i thought him doing a joint album with nas was also corny because he had done nothing that made him worthy of that.

Drake has one dope album and hasnt remotely done what jay has done quality wise when it comes to songs/albums/catalog.
On some hustling shyt drake, (wayne and nicki) are playing the game nearly identical to how hov did. Which is utilizing collaborations on the highest level and making sure when they drop it's a big deal.
None are even close to as good though

Be clear,i think kendrick is wack cause he has an annoying awful voice and corny flows and when he attempts to say anything of substance it sounds contrived and full of fluff.
He often tries to implement amateur poetry to make up for his lack of details and some of his stories sound fake as fukk like

Uh, and Lord knows she's beautiful
Lord knows the usuals leaving her body sore
She takes the little change she make to fix her nail cuticles
Lipstick is suitable to make you fiend for more
She play Mr. Shakur, that's her favorite rapper
Bumping "Brenda's Got a Baby" while a pervert yelling at her
And she capture features of a woman, but only seventeen
The seven cars start honking, she start running
like Flo-Jo, don't care if they Joe Blow
If they got money to blow, a blow job is a sure go
And sure enough don't see a dime of dirty dollars
Just give all to her daddy, but she don't know her father, that's ironic
See a block away from Lueders Park, I seen the El Camino parked
and in her heart she hate it there, but in her mind she made it where
nothing really matters, so she hit the back seat
Rosa Parks never a factor when she making ends meet

Lmao at this corny after school special story

Brolic... Alcoholics
He just doesn't have the music/thoughts to back it up :yeshrug:

The thing about Pac was he could HIT your heart. Kendrick just can't do it. Pac had universal appeal, he could make a song that was catchy, that you could dance to, but would make you think, and make you feel something. Pac went for your emotions, and he always got it because he was gifted. Kendrick thinks the way to our emotions is our brain, he's too cerebral, trying to sound intellectual (where Pac WAS actually intellectual) and have "Deep" meanings to everything. The new album is basically TPAB throwaways. The whole jazz kick is feeling way too calculated, acting like because you have a fukking saxophone playing random bullshyt in the background your message is gonna hit, that we're gonna think of you as some revolutionary. The critics with constant dikk riding. The most soulful moment on this new album was when Cee Lo starts to sing (on a song that sounds like 50s supermarket muzak). And let's not forget the Adidas commercial:mjlol: He's looking real funny in the light :mjpls:

Pac in 94 went for your heart and actually rapped about shyt that was worth a damn. Pac in 95 was a fukkin' buffoon running with the wrong nikkas and got caught up in some shyt he wasn't ready for.

Live your own life
I know You're trolling But the thought of a "hip hop fan" hearing live instruments and going "what's all of this bullshyt?". Is fukking hilarious
It sounds like an SNL satire skit on today's youth being totally ignorant of the way music was played for hundreds of years.

"What's that?"
"A saxophone?"
"Why is he using that?"
"Where is his drum machine?"
"Where's his Mac?"
"Why is he not talking about bytches and lean?"
"Where's the real music?"

You hated that song too:comeon:?He's putting you there,he's painting the picture, giving you her mindset.....I think this is you looking for Pac again, looking for Brendas got a baby which is more cinematic from front to back:popcorn:.......theres more than one way to tell a story though....He wasn't as direct as Pac and his story didn't follow no trajectory and steadily lead up to a climax....but Kendrick did great giving you the visual, putting you there, following the theme of how Keisha was used on every level, and not protected by people who were supposed to do the right thing, from grown men,to police,to her mama:mjcry:...Nothing about this song feels like "amateur" poetry,or story telling.

I guess your going to say its his fault if people compare it to Brendas got a Baby, since he has Keisha listening to it in the song:pachaha:?Nah man, once again inspiration does not mean imitation....Im sure Brendas got A Baby was a inspiration for this song since he mentioned it in the song, but he told a story in his own way....I think its every bit as good as Brendas Got A Baby,Kendricks had a secondary level to it Pacs didn't....the reference to the back seat theme actually had meaning as the song went on,as well as the theme highlighting Keisha being abused by those who should be protect a 17 year old girl, and wraps it up in a nice bow with the last verse where you really see why Keisha was destined to be so hopeless:mjcry:...So his story follows a different trajectory, and has aspects Brendas Got a Baby doesn't,doesnt mean they not both great stories.

Unless of course you wanted Keishas Song to be Brendas Got a Baby,This is hiphop so its okay to compare, but its not okay to not like something because of the comparing:ufdup:...And I think that's what a lot of Kendrick haters seem to do.

I don't think he's that dope because I will never like a spoken word rapper more than a rapper with god given or learned emcee talents....But I like him as what he is and he shows flashes.

Matter of fact I just thought about what you said, talkin about Wale is better than Kendrick:mjlol:...Heeeelll nah bruh, and I'm not on the wale is wack train...But Wale in the same boat for as the poet/rapper thing as Kendrick...Difference is Kendricks knows which one is his strength, where as Wale tried to be a dope emcee with no extraordinary emcee talents in terms of lyricaly,flow,delivery,charisma....He would be better off realizing these weakness following Kendrick and trying to be moreso in that mold, utilzing his strengths as a poet, instead he thinks he can be Jay-Z:dahell:

The 6
Keisha's Song is one of the high points in Kendrick's catalog IMO.

But overall they need to back off this affiliation a bit and let him carve out his own space. I like some of his music but the machine is stronger than the work at this point.

Also, Game drops Pac's name on almost every song on Documentary 2, and is closer to him stylistically, just in a more dumbed down form.
